POWER!, March 10, 2008

"After reading up on air rifles, I decided on the 22 Cal. because when you push a pellet past the speed of sound (approx. 1100 F.P.S.) it becomes very unstable. I'm glad I picked the .22. This rifle really packs a punch!
The first animal I shot went down where he stood. I put a shot from 20 yrds. right behind the eye and in front of the ear. A temple shot that dropped a Coyote like a sack-a-taters!
I used the 14.3 grn. Crosman Primer hollow point pellet. When I tested this pellet on a well dried 2X4, at 10yrds., it almost went clean through! Another 1/4" and it would have.
Before you buy an air rifle, read all you can about the different brands. Read reviews! Thats why I picked R.W.S.. Not Gamo.
