"I have the Bone-Dry CWS parka and this one of the warmest parkas I have worn. I hunt Nebraska whitetail from the tree stand and the cold north winds do blow during November and December. This parka has increased my sitting time from 4 hours to 6 hours plus. The extra and large pockets allow you carry more items to tree so you can sit longer and be comfortable. When hunting from the tent it shed layers and still be warm. Can't wait till turkey season so I can use just the jacket and then take off sleaves as the day warms up. I would and have recommended this product to friends and my son who hunts with me."

Hot when its Cold,November 16, 2009

"I have had this coat and the matching pants for two seasons now. No problems whatsoever! The only complaint is that they are too Hot!!! I need to have a cooler set of clothes for late spring turkey hunting and early archery for deer, but I guess if the item is named Cold Weather System, it is for cold weather. Check out the buck I got this year.... opening day shotgun, I wore the inner layered coat and the pants. Oh yeah, I wash my clothes often, like every 2 or 3 times to keep the scent off. They haven't shown any signs of fading or wear, and they've been washed 20+ times!"

"i recently bought this outwear jacket to prepare for the upcoming deer season and i love it!!!! I have been out in the woods with it and it is great, if you get to hot u can shed the top layer and use the breathable under layer. "i purchased this coat and finally went out for bow yesterday. it was really warm and very quiet. In southern iowa it was probably about 15/20 degrees and when i reached the stand i was glad i did NOT have the parka part with me because the jacket was SO warm. Very great purchase.

"Like many who read these, i took a lot of time researching different products and took very seriously the reviews I read. WOW, am i glad I listened to them on this one! First off, I hunt in Minnesota, so it can be 10 degrees on opening day in November. When I tried on the parka and bibs in the house, I began to sweat. So you can already guess my enthusiasm finally staying warm this coming opener. The quality is second to none, not a single missed stich in ANY of the seams. You couldn't get half of the coat for twice as much anywhere, and i looked at alot of stores. I can without a doubt recomend this to anyone who is looking to stay warm and dry. You will not find a better deal ($250 for the parka and bibs) ANYWHERE. Thanks Bass Pro, you definately just got a c ustomer for life."

"The jacket and pants were a gift from my girlfriend last Christmas. I have used the jacket on a hunt but not the pants. Durning the hunt i had to remove the shell and use the liner, then swap the liner for the sheel because it was so warm.
The set appears to be of great quality, and is very quiet. The set gives you termendous versitality with the ability to have a waterproff shell, a waterproff inner jacket, or use them together, remove the sleeves from the inner jacket and you have a vest to use by its self or under the liner. The pants fit great and are very comfortable, and quiet.
The price was incrediable, compared to gore-tex wich is double the price. This is the best peice of hunting garmets that I have ever owned. Thank you BPS!!!"

"I wore this jacket and bibs all season for cold weather. One day it was 17 degrees and the wind was blowing. I was nice and warm in this suit. On Christmas Eve morning it was pouring down and I stayed done dry. Great product. Downside - Too many pockets... I can never remember where I put my stuff."

"I bought the CWS Parka and Bibs for cold weather bowhunting, and I am very pleased with their performance. I stayed very warm while bowhunting on a 10 degree morning. The outer fabric is plenty quiet, even when the temperature drops. I cannot comment on the parkas waterproofness yet, but it is definitely windproof. The parka seems very well made and the large pockets are a nice feature. For bowhunting, the sleeves of the parka are not too bulky and I had no issues with my bowstring slapping the sleeves. This parka is well worth the money, and appears to be just as good or better than some of the other higher priced parkas I looked at."

"i hunt and fish year round and have alway's had to put on layers of clothes, and it was always too much, so i asked one of my friends who had a bone dry system was it worth the money, and he said very much. so i purchased the parka and bibs and the first night i went outside in 17 degree night and stayed 2 hrs and never got cold with a short sleeve shirt, bluejeans. i knew then that it would be worth it. i would buy again and again."

"Two small negatives about this jacket in my opion. 1. I don't like the way the hood is attached kinda just flops around 2. Its kinda heavy but not too bad. As far as keeping you dry it works. Like an idoit i tested it out by taking a shower in it and i stayed dry as a bone. It's a very warm jacket maybe a little too warm but it could just be me cause I am very hot natured. Great jacket i would not hesitate to buy another one."

"I have been everywhere in with this setup. I have used it all together and each piece down to the vest. Great for changing weather conditions. Together whole thing is a bit heavy but you will stay warm and dry. I am 6'5" and the extra inches in the tall fit great."
