By Happy1 from Indiana

"I shoot a traditions .50 cal xlt thumbhole, tried 5 different sabot loads, none came close to the consistance groupings of these barnes bullet.I get 1 inch groups at 100 yards.I shot a nice 11 pt buck nov 17th..range finder had it at 127 yards..put scope at top of shoulder, squeezed off..buck fell right where he stood.nice entry hole..massive exit..100 gr of 777.Little tough to load, but small price for such a devastating round"

"I am a do it yourself fellow, I work on my own firearms from restocking to trigger jobs to reloading everything I shoot except deer slugs, I expect that all rifled long guns should be able to shoot 1inch or less groups at 100yrds and I do not quit working on them until they do. These MZ bullets Shoot in everything I've put them in! .45cal, 50cal, 54cal, Knight, Remington, TC Encore, TC Omega, and I'm talking about single hole three shot groups, do your self a favor, first Lap your new muzzleloader and try the barnes MZ, the bullet performs in rifles as will as pistols by perfect pedaling which knocks the deer down. I know this bullet is packaged under Knight but its Barnes all the way through."

best smokepole bullet ever, November 9, 2008
By sweetpea181

"i have taken to 12 pointers with the 300 red hots. i shot one at 210 yards with a handr with a 100 grains of pyrodex and i took one with my new omega z5 at 180 with a 150 grains of pyrodex pellets. both deer ran only 15 yards. my omega shoots 1inch groups at 100 yards. they were the only bullets my handr would shoot and it went from 3inch groups at 100yards with shockwave 250 grain to 2inch groups at a100 yard with 300grain redhots and 100 grains of powder so i would highly ecommend these bullets to anybody. i hoping to find out what they due to a bear soon."

EXPANDER, August 6, 2008
By Waterdrinker from Brandywine, Md

"This bullet is a Barnes Expander with the Knight name on it. I have shot the Barnes Expander in 300 grains and was amazed. At 50 yards through my Rossi muzzleloader with 100 grains of pyrodex, I have MOA groups (all of the bullet holes were touching). I am sure they will be close to MOA or MOA at 100 yards. I haven't had the chance to drop any game with this bullet yet but I found one of these bullets after my practice session in a tree. It expanded to over 1 inch. I recommend the Knight Red Hot to anyone. Remember that the Red Hot and Barnes Expander are the same bullets. (If you don't know what I meant by MOA, it was minute of angle)."

Best muzzleloader bullet made, June 4, 2008
By BKP166 from Blacksburg Va Home of the Virginia Tech Hokies!!

"I have used this bullet for a couple of years in My Traditions Pursuit Pro with 100 grains of 777 pellet powder behind it and I have had no trouble with this bullet/powder combo. Every deer I have taken with this bullet has gone no more than 40 yards and a blind man could have tracked that blood trail! Great entry wound and Awesome exit wound! No matter the size of the deer you shoot if you hit it with one of these bullets it is going home with you!"

Excellant bullet, December 1, 2007
By rabbitrunner from TN

"I tried these bullets in my new T-C omega with 100 gr of 777. They grouped very good. Opening morning of muzzleloader, killed a 10 point that fell in his tracks, and later that week, I killed a doe that run about 40 yards, both with great entry and exit holes. I would recommend them to anyone."
