"This camera produces very good pics. Battery life is very good also. The only issues that I've had is the trigger speed. If an animal passes close to the camera, it will miss it or get the back half."

"The Reconyx RM45 is a real trail cam. Don't worry about the B/W pictures vs color it does not matter in the long run. The important part is this RM45 cam gets every critter that walks,crawl, or flies in front of the camera. The trigger speed is listed at 1/10 of a second all I can tell you is it's super,super fast to take a picture.`The PIR range is the best on any trail camera I have ever owned. If a 2lb skunk walks down a trail 30 ft away you will have it's picture! Case is Water and insect tight and the camera is easy to set up and use. I love the security code feature if it does ever get stolen I will have joy in the fact it's nothing more than a paper weight to the theft. Battery life is great I wish I could give more info about battery life but my cam is still running 1900+ pictures later on the first set of C batteries. This cam is the first true camera I have owned and I say that haveing about 8 other trail cameras at this time none of them can perform even close to the RM 45 period. I will never buy a cheap or other brand camera again why bother yourself with cams that miss game and break all the time. You get what you pay for with this RM45 camera a REAL TRAIL CAMERA !"

Expensive But Worth It, December 8, 2007

"Camera is very durable, easy setup, and user friendly. Night pics are very clear and the IR seems not to bother the deer. Only negative is that you must purchase a compact flash card seperately. Daytime pics are very clear with good color."
