"I would not normally contribute my opinion but this motor with AP and Remote Control is awsome. I used it for 6 hrs straight with the smaller footprint batterries (75 Amp Hour) and it still has pleanty of battery life to go again. I enjoyed the AP function which allows you to concentrate on fishing rather than driving. The remote control is by far the best option yet. I do have a couple of negatives to add. The total decked out price is too high. Unfortunately reviews like this will not help. The US2 sonar option will require more research than Minn Kota will admit. The adapter cable doesn't seem to work with all models of Fish Finders they indicate on the adapter cable package - beware or you will be out even more money for a new FF."

"i bought this motor 12 volt 55lb. thrust with auto pilot & us2 . i put on a bass tracker tx 17 (1990) it works so good . i trolled nonstop for 6 hours and only used 25% of battery power inthe wind .auto pilot is great. this is the only motor i will ever buy!!!!!!!! it is very powerfull !!!"

"with the foot pedel being able to be controlled like the powerdrive and the rocker pedel, it really makes this motor nice and a good all around motor. When fishing a calm area you can slow down with the rocker pedal it is a life savor on the rivers with the current. this motor can be as fast or as slow as you want it to be. Plus the battery gage on it makes this motor really nice. Also the foot pedal disconnects for easy storage. A fine piece of machinery."

"I purchased this trolling motor and found it to be and do everything as advertised. I have the auto pilot and Sonar II with 48" shaft. It has performed great and the digital maximizer absolutely increases your run time with less time spent charging. It is well balanced and the stow and deploy mechanism is smooth as silk. The revamped foot control system makes it extremely user friendly. I highly recommend this trolling motor."
