"I like browning products so I got this. Not one of the better products they make. There are many more reels out there that are better for the price. The spool quit working right after the first use."

"Bought 2 of these on sale at Bass Pro. After about 3 months, the anti-reverse on one of them does not work at times. When you set the hook & the spool spins backwards - what a mess & lost the fish too. There are many far superior reels at similar prices. Like the BP Rick Clunn Signature on sale now. It's been a great reel so far."

"I purchased 4 of these reels last year and haven't had any problems at all. Any and all bait casting reels will backlash, the only problems I have is that my 10 year old daughter and wife always want to use my reels. i would recommend this product to anyone who likes to fish."

"I love browning products i have over 6 combo's. I have never had a problem with anything i have ever purchased. The first trip i went fishing at buggs island, i hooked a nice largemouth, while reeling it in the antireverse quit working and i thought the fish got off but the reel screwed up."

"Browning's medallion isn't a poor piece of equipment. But for all around performance vs. price, I wouldn't endorse this reel. This reel will backlash regularly if it's not set exactly, difficult in the wind; and impossible with lighter lures. The one plus to this reel is it's smooth drag."

"I bought this reel as a combo, from the very first day I had problems with it. There was alot of play in the handle, and the reel was noisy. Very disappointed in this product. The Extreme reel is a much better product."

"My dad and grandpa purchachased this reel for me for a gift. It took a little time to get used to it but other than that this reel is hands down the best reel that i have ever seen and used. The drag and every other feature on this reel works great and has a low profile shape to help the casting. I would Reccomend to anyone."

"This is another quality product from Browning. The only thing I dislike from this reel is that it can be difficult to control while using light lures. Otherwise, the reel has a good drag, it's smooth, strong and has a good profile for easy casting."

"Baught one of these reels as a "combo" b/c I really liked the rod it was on. Had constant backlash issues, and felt like I had no control. For the same price, BPS has the KVD Quantum 600cx. I own 3 of those, and they are the best value in baitcasting reels."
