"this is the best reel ive ever used! Out of the box it is amazing, ive owned mine for 3 months and just used the cleaning kit w/ bearing grease.. this reel is insane... i have 3 rods with these reels and plan on getting 2 more rods and putting these reels on them."

Horrible for saltwater (i think),March 26, 2008

"I recently purchased this product from bass pro, It seemed to have high ratings at the time. I got the combo. If you look at the price te rod is junk for $130+ and the reel completly siezed up after one run from a bull red. cleaned it up really good with penn reel cleaner when i got home, 4 months later i put it back on the boat and when i got out there i casted and it stoped on the retrive! Very disatisified! I would have sent it in to get it fixed but i dont want it anymore anyway its junk. I highly recomend the shimano sahara for 40 dollars less it is a much better made reel."
