"When we received the trailer coupler safety pins, we were very excited... they were just like the one we lost. They were well made and strong. However, they were the wrong size. The pins we received were 5/16th of an inch and we needed 1/4 inch. The size was not given in the catalog. We have a Tracker boat and the the motor tie down rod's holes take a 1/4 inch. You may want to add this one to your catalog. I have returned the ones I purchased and bought one at a local boat dealership .... not the same U profile but the pin is the correct size. Had the pins fit we would have kept them. Would still recommend them to friends.

"This little pin can save your trailer from hopping off the ball at speeds. I didn't believe this would ever happen until I drove up on someone pulled over who had lost his trailer into a ditch. No pin = not safe!!"
