"I recently purchased this exact grill. It works out great. Lift and lower the charcoal tray is a great feature. The thermometer is very accurate. Great for smoking too.

Only downfalls I found about this grill are:

The very first time is sat outside with out a cover (that does not come with it, I had to buy it separate) is the lift and lowering chrome handle and also the chrome bolts got some surface rust on them with in a 24 hour period. - Also the rain water stains up the grill pretty bad and it is a little difficult to keep the grill shiny.

Using my chimney style charcoal starter in the grill, even with the charcoal tray at lowest it could get, the top of the flames are burning right on the thermometer and the top of the lid. It seems like the lid could have opened about 5-8 more inches, as it only opens straight up and down. I have to use my gas grill grates to set my charcoal starter stack on.

The door in the front is also kind of small. It is difficult to add wood chips and or more charcoal briquettes in the front panel.

Other than that, it is a great smoker/grill combo. Metal is strong, not flimsy like some of the other grills I have seen."

"This grill is great! I love the way you can control the heat by raising or lowering the heat from the food. The top rack is perfect for keep stuff warm while you continue to grill other foods. We even removed the middle rack and put a wok on the coals and cooked our vegtables without them falling through the rack and into the coals."
