My preferred swim bait,December 9, 2008

"I like this in the 5" model and I stock several colors in my box. Works well on the Mississippi and Missouri rivers for multiple species. Works great in lakes to.
It's a large bait and I have caught largemouth, white bass, hybrid bass and walleye on them so far.
Unfortunately, you can't get a good jig head in the freshwater section. Check out the saltware section for the Offshore Angler® Shad Jigheads. I used them in the 1/2 and 3/4 ounce sizes unpainted.
You also might want to pre-rig and use a little crazy glue/fishing glue/worm glue on the jig head as you make up your jigs. Found that after a couple fish that you don't have the problem with the bait sliding down the hook that way."
