great for pitching and flipping,
January 27, 2009
By Bassinman
from Massachusetts
"This is agreat bait. I love to flip this bait into lily pads with a light weight. The weight i usually use is a 3/16 or 1/4oz. The first time i tried this lure, i caught a bass immediately. I used the black/blue flake color."

"I like to use this bait two differnt ways. I like to fish it in cover on a small texas rig, and I also like to use it as a jig trailer."

Top Notch Beaver Style Bait !,
March 18, 2008
"I like everything about this Tiny Beaver from Bass Pro : The packaging , the scent , the colors , texture and quality control . As for colors , I prefer Green Pumpkin on a slightly overcast day , Watermelon Red or Candy when it's sunny and June Bug or Black with Blue flake if the water is stained or on a very cloudy day or at night . While you can pitch it , flip it , or throw it weightless - I prefer a Split Shot rig on Spinning equipment : Rig the Tiny Beaver with eyes up and claws facing away from the hook eye on a 1/0 or 2/0 EWG worm hook on 6 lb. to 8 lb P-Line Floroclear . Then about 18 inches up I gently squeeze on a #5 size round split shot (without tabs) . Cast out the rig and let it settle then pause - drag - pause slowly while keeping the split shot in contact with the bottom back to the boat or shore . If there is a bass around I assure you they will hammer this lure into next week !"

Best Soft /Bait out there,
March 5, 2008
By ketchamall

"For those of you out there that are looking for a soft bait that has had as much impact on Bass fishing as the worm, this is it. One of the easiest way to fish this is to set it up on a Texas rig, use a red hook, and a ½ oz bullet weight."

Great !,

By Ranger Man

"When the bite is tough, these babies will put the Bass in the boat. I use them on Smallies on a 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig head, they will bite them when they won't bite anything else.
You will only get one or two fish per bait, they are very soft and tear easy, maybe that is what the Bass like about it."

Poor quality construction,
June 18, 2007
"These catch alot of fish, however if used as a trailer you will be losing one with every fish caught.
They tear easily as they material is not tough enough."

Great bait,

"These are great as a jig trailer or by themselves on a texas rig. I have caught tons of spotted and largmouth bass with these. Very versatile."
