Great frog for heavy cover, June 21, 2009
By kayakbassin from Danbury, CT

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design
Disadvantages: Durability

"Tried countless pre rigged frogs and constantly got snagged. Then I bought the bat wing frog and no more hang ups. The frog floats over the pads very nice when texas rigged. The body thick so it won't get snagged. Like I said on my other review not that durable but the plastics that catch usually aren't. You can't beat Berkley Plastics."

If only it was more durable, May 24, 2009
By whenigrowup from Arkansas

Advantages: Performs well, Style/Design
Disadvantages: Durability

"The bass in my area couldn't get enough of this frog. The only issue is the durability; they get slung off very easy by a hard charging bass. I was able to pull them through very thick lilypads with no issues, but as soon as they were bit they went flying off the hook. With that said, i keep them stocked in the tacklebox & they are my "go to" frogs when nothing else get's a bite."

Frog, December 13, 2008
By fishinnut28 from Chicago, IL

"This is the best frog bait out there in my opinion. Very Durable, dosent float/ swim on its back like the Buzzfrog. Can be fished as top water or below the surface. Great colors as well. Great Frog. Easy to use as well. Caught so many bass with this frog"

"The Berkley Batwing frog is great bait to work the edge of heavy weeds or pads. The feet give a great action and when it is rigged weedless the way you present it deep in cover makes it hard for hawgs to resist. Caught this almost 8 lbs using the frog."

Looks and feels Real, May 11, 2008
By Klintrock from Naperville

"Good product but its worth it to match it to the frogs coloring in your area. I prefer the paddle feet on the competitors. But the fish like the feel of the body on these and will hold longer. Hook sets are easier than the harder plastic lures."
