Great Frogs, September 9, 2009
By Fin3sse from Tennessee

"These frogs produce explosive strikes. 1 thing if you fish competitively i would suggest using normal hooks. 4/0 work best for me. Reason is the spiral hooks do not allow the frog to slide up and down the line, which you want on hookset. I have way better hook to land ratio this way. Also if you can find any of the ear foam material ribbits get them. They float, therfore you can pause them for however long. A slow steady retrieve with a twitch works best. Almost half my bites are from the twitch when it splashes a little bit more and darts a little."

My favourite frog!, August 25, 2009
By Cypher from Toronto, Canada

Advantages: Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
Disadvantages: Durability

"Best topwater frogs I have ever used, hands down. Don't let the simple design fool you. The sounds made from the kicking action of the legs are very loud and attract bass from a mile away. Its thin profile helps to keep these frogs from flipping over on its belly.

Ive used about 12 packs of these frogs in 3 weeks, and need more very soon. Watermelon Pearl, Smoking Shad, and Catalpa are the best performers for me.

Only thing is that these frogs are hard to find in Canada, as the BPS here do not carry them. I have to order these guys online, but totally worth it.

Good Frog but not for the Faint of Heart, August 24, 2009
By FIGJAM from Middle TN

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money

"I absolutely love this frog. I highly recommend using this frog with a spiral lock hook like an Owner or Zoom Horn toad hook. If you just use an EWG hook on your frogs they will not last very long. Maybe one or two fish. If you use the spiral lock hooks I have caught up to 10 fish on the same lure. You can also buy the little spiral locks called Hitchhikers and you can snap them onto the bend of an EWG hook and you get the same durablity. This frog is best worked over grass mats and emerging weed growth. You want to reel it fairly fast so the legs kick like a buzzbaits on the surface. You should be using braid in a minimum of 30lb test. I use 50lb PowerPro. Be prepared for Heart pounding strikes on the lure. When the fish hits the lure wait one second and then Rip Some Lip! Tight Lines to all and good luck!"

Seagulls like it, August 17, 2009
By tryinforbass from Mukilteo, Washington

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, attracts seagulls

"I was fishing at Lake Osooyos in Washington state and all that seem to come after it were seagulls. Right when I through it in the lake and started reeling it in seagulls flew around it and started swooping down to eat it. I had to keep pulling it away. I didnt have any luck getting a bass or any fish, but if seagulls go for it why wont fish so ill keep tryin."

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, like two baits in one

"Let me start out by saying this, for the money these baits are oustanding!! Yes sometimes they do roll over and run on their backs but these must be perfectly straight in order to run true. I was fishing my aunt's lake July 19th of this year 09' I tossed this near some lilly pads looked towards the boat ramp for a moment and then back to my frog, there was a wake above the water a good inch from a bass coming to take this.. blew up on and missed! I let the frog die in the water and she/he came back around for another hit I felt the jump a little bit and went to set the hook pulled it right out of the mouth. The pic is the bass I caught moments later after catching her boyfriend.. Anyway the bass I lost was much bigger than this one.

All I know is I get some amazing strikes off this frog, they are explosive. This is a great bait, the feet make a lot of commotion on the surface of the water like a buzzbait would. I have one tied on everytime I go fishing and I just recently added more to my box, this is a must have in every fishmans bag or tackle box no dissapointments here.

best frog ever!!!!!, June 30, 2009
By cpbuckhunter

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Value for money

"Me and my freind brought these up to lake vermilion on black bay. We where fishing pads and around logs. The bass hit it before it even hit the water. The only reason we had to replace the frogs where because the northerns would bite there legs off. used them on a hook that you would use for artifical worms"

Best frog in it's category, June 6, 2009
By Bassfrog from Western Illinois

Advantages: Ease of use, durable

"I love fishing frogs; both hollow-body, and these solid soft plastics. I've tried several brands of this type of frog and this has been the best so far. It doesn't take much to get the legs moving and they ridiculous durability. I've caught at least 10 fish on the first frog. Battered as it is, it still has some time left on it."

Too good, March 22, 2009
By BassBoy13 from Colorado City, Tx.

"This lure has absolutely GREAT action! I was fishing this lure for about 15 minutes without any luck. I thought that I would give it a few more casts and switch if nothing happened. Well, sure enough on the last cast a HUGE bass blew up on the lure and nearly gave me a heart-attack!! move over buzzbaits, make room for the Ribbit!! I would have included a picture, but the fish broke my line!! Good luck, and good fishing."

Love this frog!, February 27, 2009
By bakasurvivor from Iowa

"Hands down, best frog I have ever used. There's a pond by the condo I live in and I can always count on this frog to catch bass. I throw it along the tall weeds by the bank and reel it in along the side and the bass just hammer it. Some of them last for quite a few fish, some only last for about 3-4. I guess it's just how the fish hits it. You can cast it anywhere and it doesn't get caught up. Rigged weightless you can actually cast it pretty far too. If you're looking for a top water frog, definitely check this frog out."

Vicious Strikes, November 8, 2008
By FIREWATER from Chicago Ill.

"Just came back from a trip where this bait got the most explosive strikes of any lure. Period! Worked the bait as a buzzer in and around emergent weeds and it outcaught all other hard buzzbaits, which were just getting swatted at. This bait gets INHALED!"

another one added to the bag, October 20, 2008
By bass20 from Pembroke Pines, Florida

"This bait worked out well for me. I caught 3 fish fairly quickly. i had caught a fish on my 1st, 3rd, and 10th cast. This bait has a nice topwatwer spitting and kicking action that I like to reel in and twitch weightless. The fish were 2 one pounders and 1 two pounder largemouth bass. My new favorite color is watermelon red."

It works, August 1, 2008
