"Out of all of the bass that I have caught in my life, half of them have been snagged by this lure. And those bass don't just hit it, they SWALLOW it! The vibrating action just drives those bass crazy. In the Sexy Shad color this is my favorite bass lure ever!!! But if you're casting to rocks then the finish might chip a little. (and i might recomend changing the hooks 2 sharper ones)"

"I have these in about 8 different colors and have caught fish on everyone of them. The sexy shad for some reason is not the best performer where I fish but it does catch them if I work with it all day. They all track perfect and I think the red eye and wobble trigger more strikes than my Rat-L-Traps. The hooks are very good and I have only lost 3 fish from them throwing the hook. I fish the edge of the weeds most of the time but I have also had luck trolling with them. I've found that you need to fish them a little slower than the way I fish my Rat-L-Traps."

"I bought one of these and used it extensively and had very good luck with it, matter of fact caught my largest LM on it. So i did what most people do, bought more. ALL the ones i got the second time around run so bad it is silly. Yes i know how how to tune a lure and use the BPS tuning tool ( a great tool by the way.) They run so far left or right its funny. Won't buy any more of these unless the quality improves."

"This is a great bait by strike king. My best colors are sexy shad, clear sexy shad, and orange craw. The best size is the 1/2 ounce version. Ripping through grass patches and banging off rock piles are my favorite techniques. The only bait that i think outcompetes this is the Sebile Flatt Shad"

"Thanks to KVD and strike king for producing this great lure. I give this lure 5 stars because how it performs. When you pause on the retrive this lure sink's in the retrive position and dont lay over on it's side like some other lures.
I like the sexy shad pattern because it's the first one I bought and always catch big fish on."

"These catch fish. Period. Fishing a private lake, a friend and I caught over thirty bass using nothing but these lures. We only caught about eight less than 3lbs. Even pulled in a slab bluegill and a channel cat. I really like sexy sunfish color. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the paint job is not very durable but I have no complaints about the way it fishes."

"this is by far the best lipless crank out on the market...its awsome for ripping through grass but also great in sumerged timmber creek channels with a point running in to it to act like as flat for mid summer bass feeding shallow during the early morning. i went out today and ran to the spot described above and put on this lipless crank in sexy shad color. i threw it out and retrived it doing the yo-yo technique and got hammerd by a 8lb large mouth on the fall. i really do belive that the flutter that the lure has when you stop the retrive is the key."

"I stick with Strike King for most of my lures and when there new sexy shad color came out i had to try it. I bought one of these in the sexy shad color and took it out and one my very first cast with this bait a nice Northern pike slammed it within 4 ft of the boat! I was stunned!!! within the next few hours i hooked up on about 7 bass. I never leave without one of these in my arsenal! Also try the larger size, I have caught a few 5 pounders with the larger ones. MUST HAVE!!"

"Well i usually pull out pike and bass with this lure, but after one very rainy day the bite was on. But it the carp were goin for this lure it waz crazy. I caught 3 in an hour along with 3 bass. One 15 pound carp, they weren't grass carp not sure which king"

"i recently purchased of few of these in red crawdad and sexy shad. this bait blows'em out. one technique i like to use is like a jig letting it fall to the bottom and popping it up on a rocky bottom of course. another is getting a good 7.0:1 gear ratio and burnin the bait just beneath the surface. to be honest with you i really havent ever caught any big bass with it, but alot of 1-2 pounders and lets face that size is fun to catch even if it isnt a true whale. any way thanks for reading i hope you have as godd of luck with them as i have"

"Ive been throwin this in a large long/ small lake probly 6ft deep with high veggitation. I cast it as far as i can and start reeling ust as it lands leaving my rod almost vertical and crank at a half speed. The orangeg color and sexy shad have produced several bass in the past two days, rainy and sunny, produced several bass. I would recomend it but would be more suitible in a deeper rockier enviroment."

"This lipless crankbait is superior to the RaT L Trap by Bill lewis in that it has a better "fall" action than the RLT. Even worse than the RLT, however, is how quickly the hooks remove the finish from the lure. Especially on the "Sexy Chrome" color. Overall, I still prefer them."
