"I love these baits on calmer mornings! You can retrieve them very slowly, and they make an awesome sound! I had a buddy out-fish me 2 to 1 one morning, before I switched over and began to even the score, I was using a traditional flat bladed buzz bait and was just not getting the same results!"

Disadvantages: paint chips pretty easy but that easy to fix
"you find bait fish around rocky ledges and this bait will keep you busy (black and blue) haven't tried any other colors awesome lure"

Disadvantages: a weedless hook would be nice
"I fish a small local pond, which sees quite a few anglers. The fish here are very picky. I am only able to fish a hour or two in the evenings a couple times a week, so time is precious, when I get to go out. This lure consistantly gets them biting, when nothing else is working(including other buzz bates). In the two months of using it, I have caught many nice bass, and one large crappie on this lure. If I catch one fish in a day, 95% of the time it is on this lure. Great buy, I am buying back ups!"

"This lure is great. Took it to a local lake and ran it by some lilly pads and had a huge blowup. The fish hit it so hard it popped it out of the water. I recasted the lure and a 15" 1lb. 9 ozer hit it! We moved further down the lake and caught a couple more! Great job strike king!"

"Although I don't catch as many fish with this as I do with other buzzbaits, it seems as if I catch bigger fish more consistently. The durability is so-so, because after 1 bass(5.5 pounds) the lead fell apart."

"this is a decent buzzbait i wouldn't recomnd it if u wanted to catch monster fish but it does get the job done. it is very loud and the fish will hit it hard but it not having a trailer hook they will get off and often"

"This lure has been around since 1995, the wings create a bubbly sound when retrieved slowly, on a moderate retrieve you will get a high pitched whine with a lot of cavitation. Great attention getter, the bass hit it very hard. Great nite fishing lure too!"

When you want slow,

"When I fish a buzzbait I usally throw a 2 blade buzzer ,but there are times when the fish seem to want a slower moving bait , that's when I go to the tri wing buzzbait . You can really move this bait slow . I think when you fish in and around heavy cover the slow approach is usally better . I have a very large one in all black , blade and skirt and when I'm night fishing I take the slow approach about 75% of the time . I have always loved to have a bass hit a buzzbait in the dark when you always hear it before you feel it , nothing better than that ."

"I have used this buzzbait on 4 or 5 occasions without even a nibble. It does not surface quickly or cast very far, so I miss my target more than i hit it.

"this thing works great! I caught a 30 pound limit when frogs and other buzzbaits caught nothing. just try fishing this thing through heavy mats that you would normally only fish a frog in."

"I bought this in the chartreuse color because bass tore up my other buzzbaits.It worked great. It had great action. They are very affordable.This is now my go-to lure.I like to use the Daiwa Sol Baitcast reel with my buzzbaits because it casts a mile and it doesn't weigh much.Good Luck!"

"These baits seem to work well, but I have experienced several issues with the blades. They seem to be constructed of very thin metal, and do not stand up to the rigors of regular use. I have tried to tune them back once they get out of whack, but you would be better off just tying on a new bait."

"This lure is one of my favorites. I have caught a lot of bass and pike on this lure. I always find myself going back to it when choosing a lure to use, because it seems as if whenever I use it I'm guaranteed to catch a fish."
