"This was the only braid i used all last season and i never had any problems with it at all. If you use the correct knots you'll have a hard time breaking this stuff off. The color does fade after a little while but its not that big of a deal if you use a floro leader. The price is a little expensive for a store brand but the quality is certainly there."

"Bass Pro Shops Excel braided line is the first braided line I have used that casts well and does not backlash as long as the reel settings are correct. It is relatively quiet, easier on rod eyes than most and casts quite a distance.
Great job and cudos to Bass Pro Shops!
I recommend this line as tremendous value for the dollar spent....!"

"When i used this item, my friends only thought it was 15 pound test because it was so thin. it also gave the proformance of 80 pound test and more i used it battling a turtle that weighd about 150 pounds and the line didn't break my hook did. but this is a very good product and recomend it to anyone!!!"

The flipping best line ever!,July 20, 2008

"At the beginning of the year I was a novice to flipping and pitching, but I told myself I would give it a try. I did my research and it all informed me I needed a strong braid type line. Well there isn’t a better braid out there. It runs smoothly and quickly through my eyes. I use the 30lb braid it pulls big hogs out of what seems to be impregnable cover. Matched with the right rod like the 7'6" Nitro Big Bass Rod I use you will definitely have unmatchable success. A great fishing line I will never use another braid again."

"I'm odering my second spool. This line is great for light or heavy cover and trolling for smallies and walleye on the Columbia. I have saved plenty of lures with this stuff and have never lost a fish to line breakage or the way it reacts. It casts Excellent on my Trion baitcaster. I'm going to see how well the steelhead like it now."

"I started using Power Pro in Florida fishing for Red and Snook. A friend had recommended it. When BPS came out with the Excel Braid I started using it as soon as I found it. I use it on almost all my tackle now. I still love the Excel Mono on certain applications, but I use the braid for most fishing. You still have to be carefull and watch for slack line knots or wind knots, but you have to do that with all braids. I don't like to use braid on top water walking the dog type fishing, and I don't like to use it for ultra lite (2 to 4 lb line) fishing. But for all other fishing, I love it. I see very very little memory and the feel when using rubber worms is great. Very sensitive, easy to get used to it. Would highly recommend it to every one."

"My wife and I do lots of fishing and have used many different brands of line Excel is the best by far. My wife always hangs her lure 3 or 4 times each trip on rocks ,trees, and so on. between the line and the knot we never lose a lure. Excel is a very strong, durable line and werecommend it top everyone"

"Good Braid!!! I was expecting another store brand thing because I had not bought BPS brand things before. I had been recommended PowerPro. This line was great. No stretch, so great hookups. Could barely see it in the water unless I was close to it. Great castability almost as good as my old mono. It also floats a lot longer than regular braid, which is great for me cause I use a lot of topwaters. The only thing I don't like is that it has memory. Almost as much as my old mono. Overall a good line."
