"I wish bass pro have 7 stars for special lures like XCalibur Xw Wake what can i say, it's got so many qualities like, do not need any tunning runs true out of box,excellent color combination,good quality material, nice sharp hooks and last but not least loud rattle. You can burn it or with the zig zag motion of your rod this lure creates so much action and noise just under the surface that fish cannot ignore it and you wil catch lots of fish."

Even a blind fish could hit this bait,May 18, 2009

"It's large, loud and throws off a huge wake. It reates such a commotion in the water that an old blind bass could key in on it no problem.
The bait runs about an inch or two under the surface and creates a large wake in its path. A steady constant retrieve will bring a few followers and every now and again a monster just blows up on it.

"I saw this lure originally on the Bill Dance show and immediately thought it would be a good bait. I got it in the mail and tried it out the next trip out. While I fished it off and on for 2 hours... it wasn't until the last half hour that I saw results. It has great action and the first bass I caught on it was 3lbs 2oz. The second bass about 2 minutes later was 1lb 9 oz. I will always have this tied onto a rod from now on."

"I recently purchased the XCalibur Xw6 Wakebait and had the chance to test it today. The water at the local reservoir was as smooth as glass except for some occasional ripples from a breeze. The lure performed well right out of the box, with no tuning required. The advertised wobble was there, and the rattles could be heard as it was retrieved. During a fast retrieve the Xw6 created a nice wake, with the back just under the surface, and with a slow retrieve the back of the lure was just slightly above the surface creating a nice wide and smooth wake. Didn't have any bites, but I am extremely pleased with the performance. I purchased the lure in the Tenn. Shad color, and will be purchasing additional colors in the future."
