Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
Disadvantages: to small of a tube. need a bigger option.

"I used this on a swim bait in Humboldt Bay, CA. They told me no one catches halibut with a swim bait. Live anchovies are the ticket. If you don't have live use frozen. Well none of those were catching. As soon as I doused my anchovy mimick swim bait with Nitro Grease, I couldn't keep the halibut off my line. I ended up taking home a 9 pound and an 18 pound 6 ounce California Halibut. It wasn't until I put nitro grease on that the fish started biting. Well worth the money."

Bass Caught Using Nitro Grease On A Jig
User submitted photo
"Nitro Grease really seems to make a big difference when I use it on my jigs. I have also used it on crankbaits but have yet to catch anything on those yet. It does last a good long time. I smeared the grease under the lip of the crankbaits and after several uses on several different days the grease is still there. I really can't see how a quickly moving crankbait can benefit by using Nitro Grease. There is no real time for the scent to dispurse. On my jigs I smear it all over the Zoom Ultravibe Craw and I think it does attract fish to any bait that is worked slowly along the bottom. The lure is on one spot long enough to allow the scent to attract nearby fish....which it does."

sticky icky, March 6, 2008
By gillkillr from Omaha NE

"i love the fact that this attractant is a grease instead of a oil...easier to "smother" your lures and it seem to last longer to, i also like the fact that it has glitter in it too.

i use the green color extensively on my swim baits and minnow shaped jigs (northland slurpies)

it should be called DYNAMITE grease

"While shopping at Bass Pro Shops the fishing department was giving out free samples. I have never used any kind of fish attractant before this free sample. It seemed to work as I saw a lot more largemouth than normal follow my lure all the way to the shore. My son was fishing with nightcrawlers on a bobber without any luck and he put so much Nitro Attractant on his next worm it looked like a giant green glob but withing five minutes he landed a nice channel catfish. They say the best things in life are free but it is nicer when they work too."
