"I have the OM12SB. It feels so light and is nicely balanced with the Tica TP3000SH (6.3 ratio) reel. It is light and I can cast with it all day.
What I am most impressed with is being able to cast over 110yds using a 1.5oz sinker and braided 12lb test. The key here is the rod was not even close to being fully loaded. Next try I will use a 2oz sinker and see what happens.
I have been using this on the beach for over a year and because of the way it is made there is no signs of wear on it yet, no corrosion, nothing. It has good action and is fun fighting the fish with. I would buy another OM rod again, easy..."
