"I've tried several over the years and the Buck Roar is by far the best. I've stopped numerous bucks with the roar or just a short grunt (which this call does exceptionally well). Last season I 'roared' at a 10pt that was out of bow range: he came charging over and 'roared' back at me."

"Last deer seoson i had a nice 10pt about 80 yards behind me and he was walking away.. I gave one good grunt with the buck roar and he completly turned around and came toward me giving me a better broadside shot. I would say that it made the difference that day or else he would still be in the woods."

"this is a very easy call to use, just watch the dvd and give it a go. it sounds realistic and by cupping your hand over the end changes the tone slightly. with the elastic strap making it a 1 hand use is a good feature. and the ability to grunt and wheeze save having to juggle multiple calls during the busy rut."

"This call is great to use around the time of the rut. I had a doe pass by my stand and when she was about 50 yards away from me, I used this call. Just a minute or two later a nice buck came out from the same place the doe came from. I decided to use the wheeze on this call and it worked wonders. The buck started walking and lowering his head ready to fight. The only downside to the story is since he was behind the doe, he was downwind. He stopped a little out of range and busted me. I hated that I didn't get the buck, but I fell in love with this call and can't wait to use it again."

"this is the best sounding grunt tube ever created, and the snort wheeze is a great accesory. together it makes a deadly couple. And dont listen to the people that say it is only good in rut, it is a call that can be used all season long. if you take off the rubber tube, you will be able to change pitches of grunt from a deep agressive sound all the way to a fawn bleat. "The Buck Roar is an outstanding piece of gear. The distinct sound of the buck roar paired with a challenge wheeze helped put serveral bucks within shooting range during the 08-09 season. The greatest feature is the virsitility of the call. You can do everything from the snort wheeze to buck growls to tending grunts all in one call. "You want a deep gutteral grunt, how about a soft doe bleat, or a sqealing fawn??? This call has it all, AND MORE! The call allows you to do what is called a roar which is a deep drawn out grunt and the wheeze. Also, you can change volume and get as loud as you want, something no other call can do. ""I got this last year. I believe that it allowed me to be successful both years. I have used it during archery, muzzleloader, and gun. I have noticed that it will entice bucks, and will make some high tail out of the area. (Either I was not doing it right, or it worked so well they didn't want to get beat up) I keep one of these in my gear pack along with another grunt tube. Between the 2 of them, they are deadly Only thing that I have noticed, is that during cold weather if you leave this on a hanger in stand while hunting, and then start to use it, it seems to want to make a whining noise (Not anything resembling a Buck) I have cured this my keeping it in my jacket pocket where it is warmer. I did try this while observing several does, and they did not seem to care one way or the other. just kept on doing what they were doing. I did use it blindly one morning, and I had a 4pt that came charging thru the woods like he was king of the woods, (guess he ate his cheerios). He searched all over trying to find me. Every time he would start to move off, I would let him go about 30 yards and hit it again. At one point he was 8 yards from me. Made my day, and I just laughed at him. If his genetics are as good as his attitude, he will be a powerhouse in 3 years.""

"I purchased my buck roar last season and never went to the stand without it. I called in a nice pointer with it last year and bagged the deer. Also this morning I called in a spike and a button buck and decent size 8 pointer. This call really works. If that buck of a lifetime steps out at about 300+ yrds away and you have a normal grunt call he woudlnt be able to hear you cause if you blow in it hard it peaks out and sounds like a duck call. With the buck roar you can reach that deer without peaking it out and call him in. I called my buck in from 293 yrds away with the wond blowin about 15-20 mph. This product is well worth the money. I wouldnt trade it for any grunt call in the world!"

"Well let me tell everybody this was the season of a life time. I was bow hunting and just couldnt get everything to line up just right. So i went out the afternoon of opening day rifle season in alabama just to spent some time with my dad hunting. He had seen a acouple of good bucks in the area. Pre-rut was on. So i decided to give the buck roar a try and let me tell u have being in the stand for about an hour i hit the roar once and acouple minutes later a huge 10 point came in(17 inch spread) and lets just say he was meat in the freezer. At that point the was the biggest buck i had ever taken. Three days later went to the same tree, because my dad had seen an even bigger buck in that same area. Once again hit the buck roar and a huge non typical 10 point came out and least just say my season has never been this good. I will say one thing about the buck roar when conditions are right it's the most important tool in your hunting bag. Also these bucks were taken on a military base, so it wasnt like the were farm rasied deer. Everybody should get a buck roar.""

"I bought the buck roar a couple of weeks ago and I have used it twice. I used it last time I was out and it was really windy but I still managed to call in 2 little bucks to my stand from quite a ways away so obviously they can hear it and it sounds authentic. I won't hunt without it."
