Berkley Berkley® Trilene® Big Game® Line - 3 Lb. Spools

Whether it's a bottom fish that wants to stay deep or a flats tarpon that's headed for the moon, Trilene Big Game is the line that takes on all comers. It has the strength and toughness to stand up to the challenge. High-impact performance reduces the shock and fatigue encountered when fighting big fish. Extra tough, abrasion-resistant formulation stands up to the cuts and scrapes of full-contact fishing.

Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Performs well, Value for money, Quality, plenty strong!
"I have used a life time of various monofilament lines for fly fishing, bass fishing, all types of fresh water fishing and salt water applications. I have always found it to be the most consistantly dependable and durable line on the market. I presently am an offshore Capt. in the Gulf of Mexico and I wouldn't trust any other. It only counts if you can put them in the boat or get them to the boat. I practice catch and eat as well as catch and release. So good luck! Capt."

Best line for the Price

"This line rates will the best of the lines. I rely on strong fishing line everyday, and I don't want to spend a fortune to replace it. The downside to this line is that it will over test it's rating. I have found that the 50lb line tests out at 72 lbs so be careful if going after IGFA fish."

"Berkley has outdone them selfves with this line!! i have used other mono. lines before and this is definetly the best! I spooled my penn reel up in febuary with 15 pound test, and now in may i have caught over 900 fish all in saltwater!. This line even after bluefish, groupers, snappers, snook, bunker, and lots of others has not one nick or strech in it yet! This line casts very very far, and is almost invisible, besides that it is very very very strong!!!! this is a 10 star reveiw!. I would Definetly recommend berkley big game line to any serious fisherman!!"

Big Game Line = Big Fish

,

"I fish all the local pay lakes and rivers and this is by far the best line I have ever had. I normally fish for Shovelheads and Blue cats and most of the local pay lakes do not let you use wire leaders so you need something with a little backbone. This line is tough and doesnt stretch or fray and I have caught several fish in the 20 - 40lb range, plus it is small enough in diameter that you dont lose any distance off your cast. I have lined all my poles with it and have brought 2 of my friends to Bass Pro Shops to buy their own spools ....... Great Product!"
