The canoe combines the stability, maneuverability and sea worthiness of a kayak with comfort, looks and styling of the traditional North American canoe. The Sevylor Colorado Canoe has a raised bow and stern and is as close in shape, comfort and styling to the traditional North American Indian canoe as an inflatable boat will ever get. Its double-hull construction makes it very rugged and rigid. Ideally suited for rough waters, lakes, ocean, fishing and diving and great for beginners. DO IT!,April 25, 2008
By PatrickUSCGfrom Orlando / Los Angeles (Work)
"No trailer, NO INSURANCE, stows in your closet all winter (or whenever you're not using it), throw it in the trunk, go to the lake, inflate it in 10 minutes, and you're fishing. This thing is near-military grade. I TOTALLY recommend the motor mount (or make one yourself for like $10,) and a cheap Minn Kota, (have to use some velcro straps to modify mount) but paddles work fine when you get the hang of it. Recommend kayak paddle. NO maintenance, just stow and go. EXTREMELY TOUGH. This is not a toy boat. I have no idea why Sevylor doesn't sell this thing for around $800, just glad they don't. My son and I have caught dozens of large mouth bass out of this baby, and it just keeps on going. Had it for two years now, and just love it. This is one of the last great deals still out there. Just signed in to buy another one; the Fishmaster. I can't say enough about this canoe. Best investment ever."

Help for Tracking Problem,July 10, 2007
By Nobody
"We really like our Colorado and had some of the same tracking problems. We found it tracks much better when we loaded more gear in the front. With me in the back (200+) and just my wife in the front, the front strake wasn't doing much good, but when we shifted some weight forward, we did much better staying on course. Otherwise, everything is great."

Doesn't Track,November 7, 2006
By JDJDfrom Eglin AFB, FL
"Boat is very comfortable but doesn't track well. I'd look at something different. If I can figure out how to make it track, then I'd rate it a 4. Well made, except for the semi hard rubber strakes that come delivered to your home bent. Takes about 10 minutes to inflate with a electric pump."
