Loving this reel!, November 15, 2009
By calichef from Livermore, California

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, drag power

"I'm a Shimano guy, however I recieved this reel as a gift from my parents who did a little research on reels to conclude that the revo line of reels are great quality. I love this reel! It casts so smooth and retrieves with ease! And the drag power on this reel is beyond any of my shimano reels! Lined with 50# power pro, this reel has the power to yank any hog from the brush yet be "delicate" enough to throw weightless senkos with ease. Like I said, Shimano is my go to reel, but now I put the revo series right up there with them. Great job guys!"

Great Entry Level Baitcaster, August 11, 2009
By Nextlevelbassin from Canadian Shield Central ON

Advantages: Performs well, Value for money

"Firstly, I would like to say this is a good reel. I have personally put mine through its paces and it still works well. I gave it a four out of five because it has developed a slight "knock". However, I do not expect the ultimate in refinement at this price point. Neither should you.

What you will get is a solid reel with a very strong drag. Its small size and and low profile make it easy to handle and techniques like "walking the dog" are preformed easily."

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, hardly ever backlashes

"this reel is great. its not too expensive, and you get every penny out of it. i love this reel. i am 15 and i have caught a 10 pounder and a few 5 and 6 pounders using this reel. from pulling frogs through lily pads to a double bladed buzzbait, this reel is ideal. I only use this reel. i use it on medium and medium heavy action rods. overall great buy"

Solid and Smooth casting, June 27, 2009
By Rex1 from California

Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, easy to learn on, casts extremely well and far

"This is a great med/lower price reel for learning bait casting. It shines even more once you are comfortable with the bait cast techniques. It is my first bait caster and has yet to cause me a problem besides that which is my own blatant mess up.
I can cast same type of lure I use on spinning setup almost as far on this reel. Pair it with an ugly stick rod (preferably a medium or medium/light 6 foot plus rod) and you have yourself a high quality, durable, forgiving, and fun to use rod/reel combo."
