Advantages: Comfortable, Lightweight, Quality

"I love my crocs! They are super comfy and easy to slip on and off. Clean up is a breeze just hose them off when you get out of the garden. Interior traction is not the best when they get wet so not the best shoe for water sports."

"The crocs are a great idea for outdoor shoes. They protect your toes, but you can also wear them anywhere, the back straps keep them on your feet, and if they ever come off in the water, the float very well. I wear them a lot when I am fishing, but I have noticed that they have bad traction. I spend alot of time fishing in a small creek in which I walk up and down the water ways, and the bottom is a little mossy, and is slippery. I slip all over the place when I am wearing these, which doesn't happen if I am wearing my TEVA sandals."

"I own about 4 pairs of Crocs in different colors and I love them. Super comfortable. They're not only great around the house but I wear them to fish, just going out and even to church. Living in FL you can imagine how hot your feet can get. Not in these shoes. And, your feet will not smell no matter how hot it gets. Oh, they're great at the beach as well!"

Best ugly shoes I own!, June 25, 2007

"Extremely comfortable, sized right! I debated for a while before I bought these, and I now have 3 pair and a few little tan circles on my feet. (Yes, you should still use sunscreen on your feet!) Feet do tend to sweat after a while, but these are so easy to slip on/off for a little air that it isn't really much of a problem. Easy to clean with 409 or similar product. The straps don't tend to stay forward on mine, but could be my fat feet. Won't go on the boat without them!

I've been told by the younger folk that these are the "hot" item! I see a lot of nurses wearing them, and they are on their feet all day!"

"Got my first pair a couple of months ago and am after a few more.

Due to an injury, my left foot is mishapen. These feather light shoes conform perfectly and I can literally walk miles, in sandals! The way the construction material (resin) conforms to your foot, there is no sliding about of the foot, as with other shoes of this nature. You walk as though they were a part of you. Although I have trudged through standing and running water, I have had no problems with drainage or collecting sand.

Expect to attack Disney World in a pair of Islanders in a few weeks!"

"These are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. As a plus you can get them wet with no harm at all. They have to be tried on to get the full effect. Anyone I've introduced to them made commments about the strange looks but bought them after walking around the store in them. Crocs are the real deal."

"These shoes are kind of ugly, but I still like the way they look. I have gotten comments on them everytime I wear them. People say they have a pair and they love them........most comfortable shoes that they own. Mine are comfortable. The only problem I have with them is that sand gets in the little holes around the edges of the shoes, and I have to keep taking them off to empty the sand."
