not too bad,
April 15, 2009

"Extremely small and light weight. O.K. for one person and a small amount of gear. I have not seen a tent in a long time that could comfortably sleep the number of people the manufacture claimed."

Priced at quality level,
August 5, 2008
By AC1776

"The pros consist of very light weight and compact size. The cons are structural instability and absolute minimum weather resistance unless you treat it and use a footprint. You get no more or less than you are paying for with this tent."

Agreed with Low Humidity,
November 22, 2007
By Buddha
from Hampton, VA
|
"I bought this tent obviously for its compact nature on various hiking trips. I am a big guy but did not find it to be too tiny. (Afterall, if you can sleep in a zipped up sleeping bag, how is a tent going to bother you?) I haven't used it in gale force winds but it never seemed to be overly subject to blowing away.
Humidity is DEFINITELY an issue. I have never been in a tent that was so thoroughly soaked in the morning. Good thing I was in a quality sleeping bag, because the outside of it was equally soaked. Other than that, good times for all!"

backpacker tent,
November 13, 2007
By camper101
|
"The tent appears to be someone unstable, for those who will be camping in this tent; they may want to be aware that it does'nt appear that it could hold up in heavy wind. It is a great size for backpacking as it is compact and light weight. Could easily sleep two adult women and contain rucksacks.
I would give this a 3 star. I probably would have purchased the North Face tent if I had the money."

Better be great weather,
July 18, 2007
By Brant
|
"OK, not sure how to rate this other than saying the weather better be great and don't try to get two people in it. I am 5'8" and 155. It was just enough room for me and I am a small guy. It is barely free standing and if the wind picks up or it rains, you are in trouble. Other than that, it is super easy to pack with limited space."

Hiker-Biker Tent,
July 11, 2007
By Skatebuster
|
"I recently used this tent on a November backpacking trip that covered about 15 miles. As I am a member of the Boy Scouts of America, I am a young adult. My friend and I (both 13), slept somewhat cramped in the tent. Also, there was a good amount of condensation inside. Still, we slept well, with all of the body heat. It is a good tent, just a bit small."

Great Price for Low Humidity Use,
July 7, 2007
By Booker
|
"I sealed the seams and sprayed it with a popular water-proofing spray and swapped out the tent pegs with some lighter ones. Even with those after-purchase extras, it's still a good deal as a single-wall solo backpacking tent IF you plan to use it in low-humidity conditions. On my first night out under a clear sky and relatively low humidity for the Midwest (Southwestern Indiana) there was a great amount of condensation by morning. If I were to continue to use it in this area, I'd purchase an ultralight super-absorbent camp towel to wipe the insides down with in the morning. For arid, low-humidity regions of the U.S., I think it's a fantastic ultra-light solo tent for the money, even after investing in seam sealing, waterproofing and upgrading the tent pegs. One more advantage, you can use an adjustable hiking staff or trekking pole as a substitute for the two front tent poles if you want to lighten your load!"

Pretty dang good for the price,
July 2, 2007
By freeze dried
|
"I don't really see more than 1 person fitting inside this tent unless both are extremely skinny possibly. But overall for the price this is a great tent if you are on a tight budget and need a quick back packing tent. Set up was probably the easiest tent to set up out of 20 different tents i've done. Expect a little bit of leakage if there is going to be a big downpour. If you have the money though I'd go for another tent."

Not as big as it seems,

tent,
September 12, 2006
By Dan62
from Houston, Tx

"This tent could be good for one person. On the package it says that it sleeps one to two people. I feel that it should only say one. It is way two small for two people. I also had some trouble with it leaking. If you buy it you should get a tarp or some sort of rain fly."
