"Being a 6 strand braid, it is much rounder and smoother than power pro (4 strands). This is the smoothest and best casting braid I've used, although I do want to try the new Fireline Braid (8 strands). This line will last you about 5-6 seasons if you don't use it up retying your lure (or switching lures in my case, lol)
The only complaint I have about this line is that the color does fade quicker than other braids I've used, but that isn't a big enough issue for me to give it less than 5 stars.
Also, of course braid doesn't show up under a blacklight... it is made of material, like your shirt. So unless it's white, a blacklight isn't going to make a difference. I'd think this would be common sense, but I guess not..."

"I have been using Sufix 20 lb braid for a year now. !st time was on a new bait casting reel. I was so impressed I switched my other two spinning surf casters over to the Sufix. I use it for casting to stripers and blues from shore. The line is excellant, cast like a rocket, knots are easy to tie and strong, small diameter adds 20 yds to my casts. I feel every bite and hooks sets are as solid as a rock."

"This was the first braided line I ever used. I liked the way it fished, but decided to try Spiderwire on my other reel - big mistake. I should have stayed with Suffix. It casts better, is more abrasion resistant and just has a better feel to it. The only braid I'll buy is Suffix."

"Well after using mono for a while, i decided to switch over to braid. My first choice was the Suffix preformance braid, and all i can say is wow!. This stuff was amazing, its very soft,thin, and got me alot more casting distance then with the mono. The lack of strech also lets me feel and small bites, or rocks on the bottom.This is definetly a great braid."

"I tried Berkley Fireline last year and had terrible luck with it on my my Shimano spinning gear. That being said, I shied away from braid & went back to mono. After doing some research this winter on various braided lines, as I gear up for a new Spring/Summer fishing season, I decided to give Sufix® Performance Braid™ a try. WOW! I got out yesterday to do some crankbait fishing on riprap with my spinning gear, and was TOTALLY inpressed! I could "feel" every rock, the soft bottom between some rocks, weeds and the occassional piece of wood. This line had virtually no stretch and casted great! I'm new to the world of baitcasting and just spooled some 30lb Sufix on my new reel. I can only imagine how it will perform with that new set up! Nice product...buy some!"

"I love this braid. I've tried others but this is the smoothes, strongest, and castible. I love it for flipping, pitching, frogs, swimming jigs, and many others. It won't flatten out like some braids and it doesn't fray when you cut it. And its not as expensive as the others. So in my mide you get a better product for a cheaper price."
