"There's precious little room for traditional tackle on our small-ish sailboat, but the Yo-Yo works well for trolling while cruising at a couple of knots.
We just let out the line and hang it from the stern rail with a simple loop and carabiner. The fishing line is held in tow by a Quick Snatch Release Clip, also tied to the stern rail. When a fish strikes, it yanks the line from the Clip, and we know to start hauling it in.
I drilled a series of 1/4-in. holes in the Yo-Yo, into which I clip the hook/lure for stowing."

"good for offshore sailboat fishing.
The test strength of the line is not posted.
It appears to be 60# test; however, ???
I replaced it with 200 # line for blue water fishing.
