"These boots are the best Snake Boots ever. I have had them for 2 years now and have had no problems. Hog hunt often and am in water constantly and they have always stayed dry which is more than I can say for any of the other snake boots I have ever had."

"I absolutely love these boots! They look a little bit uncomfortable, but they aren't! I thought that they would take alot to break in, but wrong again! I absolutely love them! They are comfortable and going through everything, they are a very sturdy boot! They are great during the winter time and nice during summer. I have only gotten water in them one time, but I was over the top in water.. So that was understandable! These are just too great for only $130!!"

"I've worn these boot for about a year and a half. The keep your feet safe and some what dry. I disturb a lot of snakes in my summer activities and its nice to feel a little safer. My feet will get a little damp if in water 6" or more for extended time, but not soaked."

"After growing up in Florida, the land of swamps and snakes, and having to endure the agony of plastic snake chaps and old-fashioned snake boots which gave me heel blisters every time I wore them, I decided on a change. I did a little research and finally decided on these boots. I cannot begin to describe the degree of comfort and over-all satisfaction I have experianced with these boots. They fit better than most of my shoes and slogging through the swamp with wet feet is a thing of the past. And for the price, to me it was a bargain better than I ever expected. And yeah, while wearing them one day, on an ordinary hike because they are so comfortable, I stepped right on a cotton mouth and only noticed it because it was chewing on my boot. And thanks to these boots, I apologized to the snake and went on my merry way. Thanks Redhead for a great product!!"

"Very comfortable boot, but gortex liner did not last one season ( in both boots), and since they are now over a year old and Redhead brand, cant return to Bass Pro!!!"

"As a lady who hunts, I have tried lots of boots. I had back surgery in December last year ( 06) and I can't be bending over all the time tieing my boots. I am also very cold natured and if my feet get cold and wet then I stay cold and I might as well go home. But before turkey season last year, my husband bought me a pair of these boots and I love them. We plan on buying all the kids in our house a pair for Christmas. My sister in law even bought herself and her husband a pair. Great boots. Avid Turkey Hunter"

"My bvrother and I, both outfitters, purchased these boots after an incedent with a rattlesnake in West Texas. We wear the boots every day in our work, and they are the most comfortable boot that we have ever worn,. "period". We are both large men 230 lbs plus. The cushion effect is absolutely. wonderful.,.Due to the Goretex our feet and lower legs. remain dryer than normal. The total protection we have from fire ants ciggers is an added benefit.The convenience of the zipper opposed to the laceing of the boot is very convientant . Although I have not encountered a venemous snake I fully recomend this boot to any one who really needs a protective, yet comfortable boot."

"I ordered myself a pair of these snake boots and also a pair for my husband, since we had just purchased a couple of acres on the bay and would be working in the marshy wetlands. We have been warned of water moccasins and rattlesnakes that were plentiful in the area. Well, we have surely put these boots to the test as far as waterproofing is concerned. We have been wading around in mid calf level water, and our feet remain clean and dry. They are very comfortable on our feet also, and we can wear them for hours without tiring of having the boots on. As far as snakes are concerned, we have not seen any, but we do have gained a lot of confidence walking around out in the weeds and water knowing that our boots are snakeproof. The boots fit well and seem to run true to size. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in a very functional and good fitting boot."
