"I purchased this vest 2 years ago because I kept hearing about other people falling out of trees and getting hurt or worse! I decided not to become a statistic and hunt safe going forward. I spoke with a manager direct from HSS and he answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable about the product. I'm 6' 4" 300 pounds and needed that safety and security when hunting from a treestand. This product is "USER FRIENDLY" and I cant say enough great things about the product. It has a built in drag, reversible colors, and a tension release just in case you happen to fall and need the tension released from your legs to help comfort you until help arrives!"

Saved Me From A Fall...,November 19, 2008

"On Nov. 7th, 2008 I was hunting on a friend's farm in Pike County Illinois. While trying to make a shot with my bow I encountered a fall from my climbing tree stand at about 20 feet plus off the ground. The system worked, and I was able to get back into my stand and continue my hunt. Had I not been properly restrained I would have taken a 20 foot plus fall which could have been fatal. I find the system simple to put on, adjust to fit, and once in the tree it is easy connect. Plus it has other features that allow you to work off the ground while for example hanging a tree stand. The DVD provided with the system does a great job in providing hunter safety information, and instructions on what to do should the hunter encounter a fall."

"I hunt on a military base that requires a harness. I have used the full body type harness that comes with your typical climbing stand and would spend valuable time in the dark untangling it. Though this harness is heavy (30 lbs), the time I save is worth it. The reversible blaze orange is a plus. One less thing I need to carry and store. Great product. I wish the price would go down so more hunters would use it."

"I bowhunt and have been using this reversable hunter safety system for 2 years and I love it. I own a Summitt Viper SS climbing stand as well as an API ladder stand and I will never again go up in either without this harness. It may seem a little pricey, but you can't put a number on the value of your life or the life of your loved ones. If you or anyone in your family hunts...get this harness! It's comfortable, easy to adjust and has 4 convenient pockets deep enough for a range finder, toboggan, scent wicks and a cell phone (in case you fall and need someone to come laugh at you). And the best part for me, when I'm bowhunting, I can lean out and around the stand as much as I need to get the angle I want on a shot, knowing that even if I stumble it will only be about 2 feet down instead of 20. Get this..."

"I'm not crazy about heights even in my 15 foot ladder stand but I feel very safe and secure with this vest while in my stand. I especially like the ease of putting the vest on and the fact I'll be able to use the same vest reversed to the fluorescent orange side for the up coming gun deer season. Great safety vest."

"I would recomend this to every treestand hunter. It works great and gives you and your loved ones peace of mind. I got it as a birthday present from my wife because she had heard horror stories about treestand acidents. I didn't think I would like wearing it but I do. Also check out the pro series in mesh. It isn't reversible but much cooler in the hot bow season, especially in the south."
