Three times as soft and up to 30 times stronger than other plastic baits! Strike King’s Iguana is made from a durable, tear-resistant material that’s soft and salt impregnated with more action than traditional soft plastic lures. The added bulk and profile of the Iguana displaces more water than traditional lizards, attracting larger fish that'll hold on longer due to the lifelike feel and salty taste. Use it weightless for a slow, tantalizing presentation, or Texas or Carolina rigged for a more traditional approach.

Outstandingly Durable Bait,July 23, 2007
By Anonymous
"I purchased two packages of these baits because the store I was at didn't have my usual. I read the package and the hype about the bait and I didn't know what to expect from them. I was amazed by Strike King's 3X Iguana. Most plastic baits are pretty beat up after a few fish or if you are fishing in heavy cover it beats up the bait pretty good. Not Strike King's 3X. I caught 3-4 fish on the same bait, drug it through weeds and stumps, had panfish just pull on the tail, and the bait looked like brand new. I performed a little test, I took my usual plastic bait and stretched it, and it broke after being stretched about 3 inches. Strike King's 3X stretched to over TWO FEET! My fishing partner and I were amazed at the qualities of the bait. Thumbs up to Strike King."

Iguana,January 30, 2009
By tileguyfrom Wash. DC formerly of Ft Worth
"Best Carolina rig lizard ever made. This thing will float an 8/0 heavy wire swim bait hook. and is practically indestructable.. The only flaw I've found, if you can call it a flaw, is it is really hard to put this lizard on a screw lock keeper , which is probably due to the rubber band like material of which it's made. But rigged on a 12" carolina rig, it's the best spawn bed set up I've ever used. The only plastic I use more is the Baby Brush Hog.."

Excellent Lure,January 10, 2009
By Chris83from Chapin, SC
"This lure is incredibly versatile. Any soft plastic that can be used to catch more than one largemouth is worth the price. I fish these without additional weight added. They will float a 5/0 hook. The action and size attract fish in a variety of conditions. I fish these all year (even when a lot of fisherman will downsize their lures, I still consistently get bites on these 10" monsters)!"

Great Lizard,October 28, 2008
By AllOutdoorsfrom TN
"The Iguana is great for when you need a bigger profile in your presentations. I use it primarily for bedding bass and on the ledges in the heat of the summer. Be confident one bait will last many fishing trips as these things are absolutely durable. There is one tip I can offer when using this bait. Because it is so durable and big, it takes quite a bit to set the hook through the bait and fish. I recommend a very sharp hook, longer rod, and or low stretch mono or braid, especially if your fishing deep. Set the hook hard and be ready for a fight, this thing catches big bass."

Amazing Surface Bait.,May 4, 2008
By addictedtofishing
"I have noticed a lot of carolina rig reviews, but the place that this bait has shinned for me is fishing it with a #3 wide gap hook, weightless, dragging it slowly across the surface. It creates a ton of turmoil and the bass can't resist it. Try rigging it weightless and weedless and see what happens."

Super Strength & Durability
"I have had fairly good results with this bait but it isn't one of my best producers. It is however almost indestructible and is very soft as the company claims. I have had my best results using the green pumpkin Carolina rigged. It has a great action and the fish seem to hold onto it longer, don't under estimate this bait due to my review because I have only used one color and only used it Carolina rigged. I will continue to experienment with other colors and presentations."

Great Bait,December 24, 2007

3x Iguana,July 11, 2006
By Bass Crazyfrom Harrisonburg ,Va.
"This bait may seem a little long but it catches big bass. I have caught 6 and 7 pounders on this. Alot of times it works when nothing else its working. It floats so its deadly on a carolina rig in the summer. or texas rig and fish it in the lilypads. Those are two ways I like to fish but you can fish it many other ways"
