"when the spinnerbait bite folds up but you are still fishing spinnerbait type cover. this little lure can really come through in a pinch. the weight forward design gives the bass something a little different to look at than normal. add a twirl tail trailer( can be rigged up weedless) and watch this thing save your day. hit em hard, wavewalker"

Erie Dearie For Walleye, September 4, 2008

"On a late June trip to Canada, the walleye were being a bit finicky. I pulled one of my ole reliable Erie Dearie's from my tackle box. Tied it on and attached a pumpkin colored plastic worm to the trailing hook. I would let it sink to about 15 to 20 feet then would real it in slow with an occasional short jerk. It wasn't long until I was putting walleye in the boat. Just a good ole reliable lure and I always keep some handy."
