"I purchased several packs of these. They were the size 12 which is rated at 55#. When I tested them, they separated consistently at 26-28#. Not a big deal, I will use these for something else, and order a larger size. However, if you are buying them, be aware that you may need a larger size than the rating would lead you to believe."

Disadvantages: need to sell it in bulk maybe in a hundred pack
"I have been fishing for over 35 years now and have seen the decline of nickle plated crane swivels that are of good quality. I know that there are many different types to choose from but the ones that you sell fits my needs very well. They aren't too expensive or fancy like some others out there and the price is right. Since I use them for bottom fishing and get snagged a lot, strength with durability is greatly appreciated.

"I USE THESE SWIVELS TO MAKE MY LEADERS WITH 40LB MONO WHEN I ADD IT TO MY 10LB TO 12LB LINE WHENEVER I GO LURING FOR HALIBUT. EVEN THOUGH I JUST UPGRADED TO 40LB BRAID AGAIN, I STILL ADD THESE SWIVELS TO 40LB MONO & CONNECT IT TO MY BRAID AS WELL. SO FAR SO GOOD, THEY DO THE JOB TO HOLD UP."

"I team these swivels with Norman Speed Clips and make one of the fastest attaching/strongest/twist free barrel swivels rigs I've ever used. I've caught salmon up to 22 pounds using this combo and have never had them fail. Surprising results for such a non-expensive swivel."
