"i love to use these sometimes to do all different things they are strong and durable they stand up to getting bounced off rocks and pulled through weeds all day long. if you want the best swivel you even useg get these along with either bps or spro swivels of your choice and put these on and bam"

"I have not any problems with these clips. The only things that matter to me is that it does not open when in use, and that it is not difficult to close. I always use these when trolling hard bait minnows during winter in Spokane. It is far to cold to try and tie on a different bait when I want to switch. These are great and inexpensive."

"I have been using these religously for all my crankaits. I've never had one break or pull apart. They are such a timesaver when changing lures. In fact, I'm now reading KVD's "Secrets of a Champion", and in there he states that he prefers to use snaps on his jerkabaits and crankbaits, because it increases the lure's action. Here, all along I thought it was a time saver. They are that, and a more."

"I use the smallest 2 sizes in both black and red for crankbaits and when trolling spinner rigs. Always have plenty in my tackle box. Have never had one break or come apart."

"Good crank bait clips. I like the small, black ones. Always set the drag on my reel, and have never had any problem with these clips pulling out. I always tie the palomar knot. And it will pull a plow. Recommended."

"For running crankbaits, this snap will allow the lure to run with as much wobble and wiggle as when it is tied directly to your line with the Rapala knot or loop knot.
Hardcore loop knot purists will doubt this, but give them a try and run both connections at boat side with the same lure and see for yourself. You'll be surprised! It makes changing lures so much easier than having to retie a loop knot each time."

Perfect in any size.
"I used to tie all my crankbaits with a small loop knot to get the action the bait was designed for but once I gave these a try I think I have forgot how to tie a loop knot. (just kidding) These come in a variety of sizes and when tied with a palomar knot I know they have better knot strength from experience, I have had fewer break offs since I started using this product. The design also allows your lure to run with the action it was designed for and it has not affected my catch ratio either. An excellent product I wish I would have tried sooner and they say you can't teach an old dog a new trick. Give these a try and you won't be disappointed."

"These snaps are pretty good, though I wouldn't use them for bigger fish, such as pike, muskie, and redfish. take all the split rings off your lures, and tie one of these on your line.Then you've got a quick changeing option thats depedable"

What a SNAP for BASS!,September 20, 2007

"I have used # 1,2,4 for smallmouth bass. I've never had any problems with this snaps. They hold up to rock snags. I even use this for big walleye. I have never had a loss due Snap failure. Plus its easy to switch lures."

"This would have to be one item that should be in every tackle box, if you like using soft plastics changing jig heads for different fishing styles can be a real pain (eg; fast sinking for those deep holes to unweighted for those shallow snaggy spots) but the Bass Pro Shops Fast-Lock Bass Snap makes it quick and easy."

Fast-Lock Snaps,November 10, 2006

"I started using Fast-Lock snaps about a year ago. I always use the #2 Nickle. I've never lost a fish or a lure due to a snap failure. I use 14 lb test Berkley Fireline or 12 lb Berkley Vanish with the Fast-Lock snaps and i've been able to pull some big Bass out of heavy coverage. I was fishing top water with a Lucky Craft Sammy and over threw the target zone. Got hung up on a branch on shore. I was able to pull the boat to shore without the fireline or the Fast-Lock snap breaking. The only drawback i've encountered is the snaps are a little difficult to open, but that ensures me that they will stay closed. Barrel swivel snaps have failed me in the past due to the barrel breaking. With the fast-lock snap you eliminate that problem. With 20 to a pack Bass Pro Shop Fast-Lock Snaps are also a good bargain."

"I purchased 3 bags of 20 size #2 Bass Pro Shops Fast-Lock Bass Snaps in black from a local bait shop that carries BPS items. Very disappointed in them. Very weak. I lost an 8# lure and a big fish when the snap opened up. Thought it might be just one snap. Tied on 3 different snaps and pulled them tight using a lure on one end. All 3 snaps opened too easily! These size 2 snaps were weaker than a competitors size #! snaps. I found most BPS merchandise to be good quality, was very disappointed in this product. On most other brand snaps, the hook that closes has a more rounded end to help keep it from opening under pressure. These snaps did not."
