"While on an annual fishing trip. I cought 12 trout within the first hour of getting to the lake, so there is no problems there."

"Powerbait trout dough is the best bait to use to put a limit of tasty fish on the stringer. Red or my favorite color sherbert are my top producing colors. Trout cannot resist this bait and absolutely slam it. Do you want to catch trout? Use this bait!!!!!"

"I don't need to say much about this product. It's exactly what I was hoping for. I purchased a jar of the rainbow color and the trout love it. I use a driftrig with small trebles size 16 and 14. If theres trout around you'll know. They won't let this go by. Stays on the hook really good. My problem is I need another jar or two soon(lol), especially knowing winters coming. I'm glad our lake never freezes. I'll be using this product all through the winter. Best doughbait that I know of. I recommend this to anyone."

"I had great results with this, instead of saying trout bait it should say every fresh water fish. I caught trout, catfish, bass, bluegill, sunfish, rock bass.and carp and turtles.If i would have stayed at the lake any longer who knows what i could have caught."

Easy to use and it works!,April 27, 2008

"I say pretty much any of the colors work, but you can fine tune your presentation based on the water color and time of year. I usually use lighter colors in dark stained water.
Just roll up a small chunk into a ball and stick it on your hook--then catch fish!"

"this product really works. i have sevral jars of this stuff. great stuff to catch trout. the jar lasts you a long time. you can catch a lot of trout with this, just buy different colors for different seasonal weather. some bait does not stay on your hook but this product stays on your hook for a long time."

"With the growing success of Berkley's legendary Powerbait, the company has spawned a plethora of different colors and flavors to choose from. Of course I've tried them all and in the end I always go back to original yellow glitter, chartreuse glitter, and rainbow glitter. I've caught fish on all the other colors but as long as you have these three essential colors in your arsenal you can't go wrong. It's a good thing that there are an abundance of trout farms all over the world producing current and future stock or else Berkley's Powerbait would seriously have to be banned!"

"I have used Berkley's power dough glitter bait for the last 3 years. It is the best bait possible for catching hatchery trout and even catfish. Use a small hook such as a #8 and position some small split shot about a foot above the hook. Cast it in to fast water and let it drift, then hang on. If lake fishing use a crappie rig with smaller hooks and a larger weight, and let it sit on the bottom. I particularly recommend the glitter orange, yellow, and green. What I like about this bait is that it stays on the hook and is difficult to "cast-off"."
