"The 3½" Chrome/Black back Rat-L-Trap Magnum brought home the big ones last Spring at Watts Bar Lake in Spring City Tenn.
It took a bit of work to find 'em, but when I did I caught a 5 fish limit in excess of 20 lb in one day.

My throw back lure of choice for spring musky!,March 17, 2008

"These things are unbelievable!
I use them as a throw back lure in the spring when muskies are just getting out of the winter funk. I'll start out throwing a jerkbait or shallow crankbait and work it somewhat slow with a few pauses. As the water starts to warm up and I start to see muskies follow the lure to the boat and not strike, I'll usually throw back to them with either a small bucktail or the Rat-L-Traps.
These are the perfect throw back lures because you can work them at different depths and vary the retrieval speed, to try and entice the fish to hit. I've had some nice spring muskies nail these things, and they always seem to get hooked up good! I've also had a few bonus Large Mouth's hit them, and they end up usually being in the 5 or 6 pound range or higher.
Great for spring muskies, pike and big bass!"

"This is the best striped and largemouth bass lure i have used. I have caught 3 large mouths about 5 pounds in one day and countless striped bass the smallest about 32 inches and the biggest about 21 pounds at lake tawakoni in texas. this is a great product for bass"
