"After reading the reviews I decided it would be worth while to give this product a try. While the tote may have been slightly lighter than I hoped it was still more than acceptable. The design is good and it works just as it should. Since I don't abuse my equiptment I know this product will last and suit my needs for a long time."

"Hubby & I had not fished in years and just bought some land with a pond. The first 4 trips and each of us took 3 rods. By the time we got to the pond all 6 were tangled so bad that it took us 30-40 minutes just to separate them. I spotted this online and thought I would give it a try. It holds 4 rods perfectly. You do have to turn them a little to get all 4 reels in but it is not a problem. We now have 6 of these and love them. No more tangled rods. Lightweight and very easy to handle. I walk with a cane and now I carry all 4 of my rods by myself. Easy to put together and do use a little vaseline to slide the brackets on. Makes it much easier."

"Great idea but I am unable to place four rods with reels atached in at the same time. The spacing needs to be spread out and the grippers dont hold well in the heat."

"Easy to assemble, very handy and practical I use it for my flyrods, a little fragile, not to bang anywhere but I don't mind to be cautious with something that carries 4 of my favourite rods on the fishing spots."

"I am “ably’ disabled. I got these items to be able to carry more fishing gear in my little conversion van I got as a fishing fool, I mean tool!
I am somewhat mobile but mostly in a chair. These items make it easy as I leave them in the van all the time and ready to go. I love it. It makes life simple to carry several rods at a time. The item was easy to put together even with one good arm. Praise God for innovative people.
I even had a phone chat with the maker/manufacturer; very nice person.
If you fish with mor ethan one rod, this tool is a must!"

"I bought this after buying the other portable 4 rod holder that is white... and this one is way better!... Holds rods in a row.. very easy to get one in and out.. If you use this for what its intended for.. IE: not ocen rods.... but freshwater or smaller rods in thickness ... then it is excellent. Made it ease to disconnect from my wall in my shed and take in the car to the lake. I can easily grab the rod i want.. the tips dont tangle and the snaps hold in place well. had for some time now and Very happy!..."

"the rod tote is a smart buy because it is alot easier to carry up to 4 rods at 1 time in 1 hand and the price was very affordable. the bad thing about it is your rods will spin a bit when they get a chance."

"A good idea, but the plastic parts that snap around your rod break way too easily, it's a shame too because it's an excellent way to get your gear in and out of a hotel / motel, especially if there is an elevator in the journey!! Fix the snap issue and this is a TEN!"

"I bought this and I was unsure if I was going to keep it or not. I was a little unhappy that the item arrived and some of the screws were and packaging appeared to have been previously opened but I decided to hand on and see if I still wanted to keep this tote. The idea is great but I think corners have been cut to save money. Thinner rods will not stay in place on and I get the feeling that after time the plastic holders will stretch and my larger rods would fall out as well. Spend a little more and get something that will last!"

"We purchased this, you have to be careful that the rod isn't too thick, clips break. They should have made it with metal clips rather than plastic. Many of our rods don't fit so we stopped using it. Would have been nice for vacations but if all your rods don't fit what's the point."

"I've used one of these for many years.
After mounting the clips- you can snap the holder vertically or horizontally in your boat and they are very secure.
Good / practical produt. You'll be glad you purchased one ."
