There are plastic baits, and then there are Zoom baits. The difference is undeniable. Want proof? Just take a peek into your favorite tournament angler's tackle box, and start counting the Zoom bags. For those who lay it on the line every time out, there can be no other choice. Every Zoom soft plastic bait is wholly realistic, super-soft to the touch (for the extra action needed to pull that reluctant money fish) and salt-impregnated to hold even the most tentative bite. Length: 6"; 9 pack.

one of my best buys off BPS,
December 14, 2008
By fisherman15from south tahoe, CA
"The Zoom® Soft Plastic Baits - SS+ Lizard is a great buy the lizards hold up good for a few fish you can catch like 5 bass off one just watch out for bluegill that come up and try to nibble off the tail. I like to throw it near rocks and plants with a worm hook and rig it weedless. i normally use it in the middle of the day when the bite is slow and this baby brings them up from the weeds and rocks where they are hiding from the heat. i dont use weights just a hook and the lizard i keep it on the surface and they come up for it . I havent caught any monsters on it but nice 2 to 3 pders im sure ill catch a monster on it some time. It is surely the best lizard very lifelike in the water very realistic where i fish i like the 09 color and the baby bass or if they have it the watermelon red."

"I got a buddy that swears by zoom plastics, we were fishing at a local farm pond, after bout an hour of not catching anything and him catching bout 3 to 5 good size bass, I ask "what are you catching em all on?" he says zoom worms, and he ask if I wanna use some and, me being the stubborn guy I am, says no thanks i got a system thats gonna play out soon enough, he walks to the other side and I wait for him to disappear outta site then I hop into my tackle box looking for any zoom products I had, and it happens to be these zoom lizards I recently bought, I rigged it texas style, cast it out, and BAM! that sucker gets pounded, I reel her in and i prolly had a 6 pounder on there, and whaddya know I caught the biggest bass that day. now im a believer, zoom works"

Great Lizard,
July 22, 2008
By kustmpaintrfrom Connecticut
"These Zoom Lizards are awesome. This year all my regular ponds have become over run with fisherman, and kayakers. Not good fisherman either, the ones that like to use deep sea rods with 100 pound test with a 4 ounce lure to splash it next to a 1 lb bass. Up to this year any weekend you would be lucky to see 2 boats, this year every time I go even weekdays there's at least 10 boats, and as many kayakers that like to buzz the shore line. Needless to say these fish are highly pressured now, spook very easy, and have become very unpredictable from past years. I have had to drop the spinnerbaits for Lizards, and this has been the ticket. Watermelon purple flake has killed them, and I regularly come in right behind other boats, and pick off all the fish they miss. A little gel fish attractant, and my secret retrieve, and BANG. These rule. They hold up decently well, and usually last for a couple 3 pounders. Highly recommend them. Great bait."

Best Soft Plastic Lure,
July 20, 2008
By BestFishermanfrom Elba, AL
"These are the best lizards you can use. I was fishing at a a public lake where the fish are extremely pressured and I had success with the watermelon chartruese tail lizard. I fished it as slow as I could and I had amazing results. You will to if you use it."

Best Bait Ever,
July 13, 2008
By jsz002from Finksburg, MD
"I first bought Zoom Lizards about 4 years ago and they are the best bait I have ever used period. I have caught over 200 bass this year alone on 6 inch lizards fished weightless on a 1/0 hook. Bass hit it as it sinks slowly Once the lizard reaches the bottom, cast again.Just watch your line. If you see a cruisin bass, just throw a weightless lizard in front of it, you wont be dissapointed. Ilike to experiment with different lures but I always find myself going back to the lizard by the end of the day. I have fished many lakes and ponds in Maryland and they have worked everywhere."

Alright,
June 29, 2008
By Tim7from cranford nj
"these don't work well alone i would cast them texas rigged right in front of bass and they would turn away. But the same bass will bite it when on a strike king spinnerbait which doesn't work that good alone either but together there wonderfull!!!!!!!!!! I found them to work on the most finicky bass theres one bass i always see not even a foot from the shore and won't even eat live but first cast he swolloed it right up."

Great for the spawn,
June 28, 2008
By fishin4bassfrom Apopka
"These lures are great for the months when the bass are spawning. Just cast it along the shore and work it like you would a Zoom Super Fluke. Jerk it a couple of times then pause for a second or two the jerk again. the fish cant resist. The only color ive ever used is watermelonseed although id be willing to try this lure in any color. Overall its a great lure along the shore, weeds, of in the deeper water."

new tactics,
April 3, 2008

"This is a tough little plastic bait. They hold up well in heavy cover. I like them Texas-rigged with a light weight. I've even used them to dress flippin' jigs on occasion. Cut off the head and front legs, worm it on the hook, and give the fish something different to look at."

Springtime killer,
March 13, 2008
By Floridafishinfrom Winter Haven, Florida
"When spring rolls around I always have one of these bad boys ready to toss out and come back with a bass stuck on the hook! The color I always reach for is the Sapphire Blue lizard rigged Texas-style (1/8-ounce weight) on a red 3/0 Eagle Claw worm hook. Toss 'em by beds, near docks or drag it over the lilly pads."

Zoom Lizard,
January 9, 2008
By Bassinman
"I have caught hundreds of big bass on this lizard. It is by far the best I have ever used. It is great fished weightless. Watch your line as the lizard sinks. A lot of the strikes occur as the bait is falling. After the bait is on the bottom, pause for about 5-10 seconds. If there is no strike, twitch the bait a little. wait a little more and repeat. I hope you have as much luck as i did."

When the bass are spawning...,
December 29, 2007
By NJBassfrom New Jersey
"When spring comes, and the water starts to warm up, and the bass start to come up shallow to make beds, this is the best bait to throw out at them. This bait is the spittin' image of the real thing, the salamander which big bass love to tear up when it comes near their nest. Junebug and red bug are great all around colors, but green pumpkin/chartreuse is my #1 pick and best producer for sight fishing. The chartreuse tail really stands out so you can see it, but the green pumpkin is the magic color for bass. When not sight fishing, I use red bug, green pumpkin, and junebug with best results. I like to texas rig just past a nest, then hop it near it. As soon as you feel the big female really take the bait, set the hook! Another great way is to carolina rig the lizard across the ground and hoping you get near a nest. This bait has the best tail action I've seen in any lizard, and the body is soft but durable. The softness makes the bass want to hold on longer but the durability can withstand hooks and countless aggressive bass after bass. For texas rigging, use 30lb. braided line with a 3/0 hook. For carolina rigging, use 30lb. braided line,15lb. fluorocarbon, and a 3/0 hook. Good luck."

Great early season bait....,
June 23, 2007
By ncbass24from High Point, NC
"The Zoom SS+ Lizard is a great bait during the dog days of summer on a carolina rig, but when it really shines is during prespawn and the spawn. I use it on a small split shot rig and catch alot of bass during the spring. Try the watermelon with red flake lizards, you wont be dissapointed."
