1500 yards .... not even close,March 5, 2008

"I bought this for long range shooting competitions and hunting. I tried to range a steel target at 800 yards and it did not range it. I tried buildings, bilboards, hills and anything else that should be considered able to meet the maximum advertised range. The farthest distance I returned was 749yd on a building I couldn't even range a person at 520yd let alone a deer at 1000. I bought the lica crf1200 and walked out of the store and ranged 1186yd first shot. The leupold is great if you limit it to 500yd"

"THE PRICE IS HIGH, BUT FOR THE PRICE YOU GET A RANGER FINDER THAT WORKS FOR THE GUN AND BOW HUNTER, IN ONE DEVICE... A RANGER FINDER THATS A TRUE WORK OF ART... IT TAKES A LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO GET USE TO ALL THE FEATURES,BUT IT IS WORTH IT, AND IT IS STILL CHEAPER THAN SOME OTHER HIGH-END NAMES,THAT DO NO MORE THAN POINT AND SHOOT..."
