"I put this scope on a new Ruger 338 Win mag. The optics are crystal clear, and the 14x with the boone and crockett sight is also excellent. I own all Leupold scopes and this is by far the best and well worth the money."

"I first saw this scope on a gun in a local sports store. When I saw it my reaction was "No way you can see through that. Its got a hump at the front" But man was I wrong Inside the Store at about 10 feet to a bottle on the counter on the lowest magnification It was crystal clear. Try doing that with other excuses for long range scopes. The clarity is unreal. I am a big fan of Leupold all I ever will and have owned and this drove the nail for me. It is clear even to my Paw Paw who is at the least "close sight challenged". This was the only scope that was clear to him and I think it will be for you too. Overall I wouldn't shop around for other "scopes" I'd just buy a Leupold"

"I have used scopes with a 50mm objective in the past, but they never felt very comfortable. After getting this scope and having it mounted, I can say that it is just like shooting with the scopes that I have been shooting for years... but I have gotten probably another 20 minutes of hunting time added to my day, which is a great thing in my book. I would reccomend this to anyone that wants to maxamize their trip to the woods."

"Bought the scope in December and finally put to use on the 27th of January (2007) in Mexico, knocking down my first mule deer. This is a great scope and it has a great field of view. The low profile is also a great benefit, it allows the scope to be mounted lower. Also works great I low light conditions."
