"This is great rain gear. I purchased it last year for my Alaska grizzly hunt. It rained 9 of 10 days - just saying rain is an understatement. The gear kept me dry the entire hunt. I was most impressed by the durability. We covered alot of alder wood country with no problems."

Best Wet Weather Gear for Hunting,January 13, 2009

"PacLite is the best rain gear for hunting I've ever used. First, it is very lightweight and well suited for warm weather spring hunts. Second, it is extremely durable; briars and buck brush won't rip this material. It is very compact, too, so it won't take up much room in your daypack. Get some, stick it your pack, and when it pours, you'll be ready."

"I used this product on several wet hunts - one a monsoon. In lighter rain, i didn't notice any leaking, but, in heavy rain i was wet in several places. The jacket is very light and breathable, however, does not seem to be long enough in the back to cover pants while sitting - would suggest a bib instead of pants.
Unfortunately, I got wet , but, did not notice any tears in seams. Quality seems to be good, but, I expected to be completely dry, especially for the price."

"I bought this Gore-Tex shell to pull over another MOBU parka I bought last year (or I can layer it over fleece alone). It goes over the parka perfectly and I couldn't be more pleased. I also have the insulated Extreme bibs that go with it. Good stuff! I highly recommend both!"

Best Rain Gear On the Market,September 8, 2006

"This is the best rain gear I have ever used. I have worn other brands that are owned by friends or family and the PacLite Rain Jacket is by far superior. The main reason is due to the breathable membrane. The others claim that they breath, but it's due to zippered flaps in either the arm pits or on the back. These other other brands need these in order to cool the wearer down. The Gore-Tex membrane breathes and thus doesn't need the flaps. You'll still get a little warm with it on, but you won't roast as you would with the other brands. I use this jacket in the rains of Florida regularly. I hunt with it and I have no complaints. I even coach a youth sporting team with it in reach in case of the Florida summer/fall down pours."
