The Hildebrandt Snagless Sally Spinnerbait has been a go-to favorite for bass and pike anglers for over 40 years. Its unique stand-up weedguard makes the Snagless Sally ideal for fishing in the roughest cover around. The keel-weighted Pro Model Xtra-Sharp Hook with an extra-wide gap minimizes line twist and is perfect for rigging Sally with a pork frog trailer

25 LB musky

7 lb walleye
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Value for money Disadvantages: the line up needs a larger version for bigger fish, the skirt wilts a little fast.
"A seven pound walleye and 25 pund musky this year on a Snagless Sally. I'm a believer. I wish they made a larger size."

Snagless Sally,July 6, 2009
By JeffV
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money, bass cant resisit them
"I have used this lure for about 10 years and always catch bass with it. I use the yellow skirt with a #4 spoon and put a green and white pork frog on it. Flip it on the bank and pull it to the water. If a bass is around they cant resist them. I have caught some large ones with this lure. One of the best in my opinion. Try it, I promise you wont be sorry."

A old classic,April 21, 2009
By JEMCGfrom Florida
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design
"This lure has been around for years and it flat works. For heavy cover of almost any type this lure can make it through. The bass it can catch will be huge at times and it works well in saltwarer for redfish. Just use tackle on the heavy side when fishing this bait."

Great smallmouth and redeye bait.,February 16, 2009
By clownaround21from Sutherland, VA
"i usually use these spinners on my float trips down the nottoway river in va. They produce smallies and redeye in numbers and size that i've never seen in other lakes or rivers. They just work. I catch an occasional largemouth on them but smallies just tear them up. redeyes are wonderful on here too!!"

Great Results,August 27, 2008
By sitrucfrom Mohave County, Arizona
"I just used one of these for the first time a few months ago and they worked excellent for trout. They cast well and have a lot less line twist than a traditional in-line spinner. I think this fall more into the category of a modified in-line spinner than a spinner bait but whatever you call it, it works well. It has landed largemouth well too, especially when the bite is slow or on high pressured fishing areas."

Generations of Success,July 20, 2008
By MichaelH
"I started using this bait when I was old enough to use a baitcaster at about 9 years old. My dad taught me how to and I picked it up and told him I wanted to use "That bait" which was the Hildebrandt Snagless Sally. My dad has used the bait since he started fishing and I've used it since I was 9. I have never fished a pond, lake, or river that I haven't had success using this lure. Since I started fishing I have always loved trying to land my bait right up against trees, brush, a weed bed, the bank of the pond or lake, always getting my lure snagged and having to loose it. Since I started using the Hildebrandt Snagless Sally I have only lost a total of 4; two to my dad, 1 to a fish breaking my line, and another to casting it out and it flew off my line ( bad tie ). With this bait I have cast literally into trees and pulled it out of them, I've cast into fallen brush, I've cast into thick, thick, weed beds and always pulled them right through. This lure when fishing in brush or weed beds just "bumps" into the weeds, or brush, feels about the same as a snagless rigged plastic worm through the same cover. I promise you will not be disappointed with this lure."

100 years of getting it right,August 28, 2007
By Tippy River Rodent
"I've used Hildebrandt's all my life, because my father used them all his life. The company was based in my hometown, and we'd often be able to get custom-made lures by visiting their factory.
So, you might consider me biased. BUT...
As someone who fishes in weedy lakes and logjam-laden rivers, this is the greatest Hildebrandt lure for these conditions. On a normal weekend, I'll loose 3-6 lures to submerged structures that make retrieval impossible. I've lost ONE of the Snagless Sallies in the past three years. For me, it's attracted largemouth and smallies, northern pikes, bluegill, lake perch, and (once only, though) a nine-pound carp.
If you love fishing spinnerbaits near difficult structures like logjams, you owe it to yourself to give this a try. The above-average price for a spinnerbait is well-worth it, and Hildebrandt spoons are the greatest out there. You have two generations who have fished with them to back this claim up."

Snagless Sally Inline Spinnerbait,February 12, 2007
By Lamarfrom Milton,Florida
"I have used this spinnerbait since 1977 when I first started Bass fishing using it mostly in the spring? in NW Florida and SE Alabama brackish water in the marsh flats and shallow lakes 2-6 feet deep. I fish it over grass flats reeling it in fast enough to keep it about 6" to 1' below the surface using the 1/4 and 1/3 ounce versions with the nickle/white and niclkle/chartreuse combinations in clear water with excellent results catching bass ranging in size from 1 lbs to 61/2 lbs. I've also had moderate success using the gold/yellow 1/4-1/3 ounce sizes in stained/cloudy spring time water. This lure is fairly weedless but it does tend to pick up moss at the spinner connection stopping spinner rotation.BEST OVERALLspinnerbait I've ever used"
