Advantages: Style/Design
Disadvantages: Durability

"It works good on the small ones but once you get up to the big cats, like 45+ pounds, it can't handle it. We tried to net one that ended up weighing 45 pounds exactly and the handle broke, not strong at all. The net held up but got cut by the fins. If you are going for small fish, this may be great but look for another net if you are catching the big ones."
