Advantages: Ease of use, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
"These are protection for your investment!! I cant say anything bad about spending $3.99 to keep something that costs more than $100 protected from scratches, dings, water, etc... People think im crazy but I have reel covers on EVERY single baitcaster and spinner reel that I own! But you know what? My reels always look brand new! Even the ones I have had for 5+ years! Buy these if you really care about your equiptment and take pride in what you own!"

cheap insurance,May 21, 2009
By Shadowgrass3from Livingston, LA
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design, Value for money
"These covers will keep dust and grime out of your reels, and will protect them from the elements, as well as getting beat up in your rod locker, truck bed, or wherever you keep them. If you're going to buy a piece of equipment, why not buy a little protection for it, so you can have it around for a while and maximize your investment? At the end of the day, put a line keeper on, spray a shot of conditioner, and pull on the cover. Next time you reach for that reel, she'll be ready to go."

Handy Item,April 12, 2009
By duffy
"I bought a couple of these mainly to keep my reels clean and from getting beat up in the rod locker. After trying them I bought a couple more for the rest of my reels. Our area is very dusty and they are exellent for transporting your pole/reel in the back of a pickup to keep them clean and working like new."

Saves you baitcaster,March 5, 2009
By bnigusfrom Kansas
"If you are like me, you spend a lot of money on your reels, and you watch them get beat up all the time. I got these to keep my investments in great shape. This fit nice on all of my reels, and save me a lot of stress when i put them in the back of my truck. These are a must have when it comes to reel storage and maintance. Great investment!"

great product,February 12, 2009
By carbuddy2
"this thing is so simple its stupid. bought two of them and one (the round one ) did'nt fit the reel i bought it for. but that was my fault. the low profile version fit perfectly. you really don't need to cut a slit for the line and the two bungie things aren't needed. i would like to see bigger models for bigger reels."

DONT LET YOUR INVESTMENT GET DESTROYED!!,June 19, 2008
By movilfrom massachusetts
"This product is an absolute must-have for anyone with any baitcasting reel, unless you dont mind having dirt in your spool and ruing your reel. Do the math is $5 worth protecting a $60-$300 investment?I religously put this cover on when i put down my reel, i learned this lesson the hard way a couple times, dont let it happen to you. The only thing you will have to do is trim for fitment of the reel handle-whoop-dee-doo."

Outstanding product,June 16, 2008
By kustmpaintrfrom Connecticut
"Inexpensive way to protect your reels. I have 2 Johnny Morris Elite baitcast combos, 2 Johnny Morris Signature Spinning Combos, and 6 Johnny Morris Signature Baitcast combos (3 of them are signature reels on Elite rods). A lot of money invested so these covers are a must. I have these covers on all of them, except the spinning (I obviously have the Bass Pro spinning covers on those). They are high quality, durable product. Keeps them from getting the accidental bumps, and bruises while moving them around. At $4 they are a very cost effective way to protect your investment. I highly recommend these."

Must-have,May 6, 2008
By Knucklesfrom Eugene, Oregon
"If you have a reel that you care about you need this piece of kit.
I orderd one with my new baitcaster and am confident that when paired with the BPS rod sock I can toss my $350 rig in the back of my pickup and not really worry about it oo much.
That's pretty good piece of mind for four dollars."

just make a slot with cissors just in front of it.,April 22, 2008
By froggyanglerfrom France
"I put those covers on all my baitcaster reels, and my brother does too... To cover your reel without cutting the line or letting some slack in the line, you can cut a slot about one inch long vertically in the front of the cover with a pair of cissors, as it's made of neopren, it won't fray...
A really great product, very friendly for my reels..."
