Offshore Angler Captain's Choice ReelDesigned for tough duty all around. The 1-piece machined-aluminum frame remains flex-free even under heavy strain, keeping the internals in-line and operating smoothly. Inside, a stainless steel pinion gear and 4 stainless steel ball bearings deliver crisp steady retrieves, and the stacked multi-washer drag offers efficient, dependable performance no matter how much pressure you need to apply. Weight: 28 oz. Line capacity: 30 lb./475 yds. Gear ratio: 3:1. Offshore Angler Captain's Choice Rods It's a long-running rod series, and for good reason! Simply put, our Captain's Choice rods deliver maximum performance -- period. And we've made them even better, by retaining our finest time-tested standup actions but upgrading to a T-glass, E-Glass composite for increased pulling power. On the near end, gimbaled and capped hard speed butts ensure the "quick out of the holder" response critical for trolling. Heavy framed Fuji® aluminum oxide guides withstand the heat of smoking tuna runs or dredging grouper from the bottom in deep water. Handsome custom-style wraps complete an exquisite fishing tool you'll be proud to own.
