Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Style/Design
"These are probably my favorite or second favorite lures to use. They can catch fish in just about any conditions, all you need to do is find the right colored 2" or 3" plastic grub to put on it. I prefer the white headed jigs with a 2" red, bubble gum, or purple grub. Amazingly, I've NEVER caught a crappie on one of these. I've caught largemouths, but never a crappie. I know a lot of people catch crappie on them, but for the record, you can probably catch just about anything on them."

A Classic,March 21, 2009
By MWisemanfrom Indiana
"I would recoomend these to anyone that loves to fish. There uses are across the board, from Panfich to Bass to the larger game fish( Pike, Walleye). I was hooked on Road Runners some 20 years ago by my dad and one of his friends. I joined them on a fishing trip were they where fishing them and getting bites on almost every cast."

Road Runner Jigs,September 9, 2008
By mokanfrom missouri ozarks
"Have used Road Runner Jigs for years. Good colors, good jigs. Up north they're used some, vertical jigging minnows for walleye. A little extra flash for times when it might be productive. Guides jigs. I should try the same down here in Missouri."

Road Runner Jig heads,June 24, 2008
By neafishermanfrom Pocahontas, AR
"These jig heads have always been my favorite but like everything else they are not perfect. There is only 2 problems with them. 1 the hooks like to bend really easy. 2 every other one's swivel wont turn. These aren't the only ones with this problem but these are still my favorite jig heads."

Best Gift ever,May 29, 2008
By Greatoutfitfrom Branson, MO
"These are my favorite jig heads. I got about a hundred of each color and I use them all the time. Fish them with a grub and you'll catch any thing. We've caught every panfish on these in lakes and rivers. Try tying bucktail or marabou to them to make your own secret lure."

#1 crappie lure,September 25, 2007
By naturesfly from S. Indiana
"I hate to give away my secret to placing high in tourneys, but this is a must have lure for crappie fishing. Dont waste your time with minnows, when you can cover water and fish much more effectively by putting your bait in front of activiley feeding fish. My favorite is the 1/16 oz. chartreuse head. Just a note: stick with the orginal head. Using 6lb test you cant bend the hooks on the red or premier series, but with the original you can. It will prove to save you a lot of money and time retying when you could be catching fish. Try it and youll become a believer. I promise! p.s. no i dont have any affiliation with blakemore. Just a true fan of the product because it works."

the best jig head out there,December 2, 2006
By swindaddyfrom St. Joseph, Mo.
"I have been using road runners for years and now I buy the jig heads in bulk. I like to use them on 2inch and 3 inch curly tail jigs as we;; as sassy shad body jigs. crappie and bass tear these up. walleye too. there are certain lures every tackle box should have and road runner jig heads are one of them. my personal preference are the flo red heads but i also use chart. too"

A must have for river fishermen,July 11, 2006
By T. Spatharosfrom TEXAS
"This product is an absolute must for any river fishermen. I have never been shut out on any river and all I ever carry is a handful of 1/32 oz and 1/16 oz black and white Road Runner heads with a variety of small plastics ... grub tails, tubes, etc. Vary the colors of the plastics and you'll catch everything a river has to offer. Try light tackle with 6lb braided line and you'l have a blast."
