Good concept poor quality,March 13, 2009
By Ed001from Lake Greenwood, SC
"I purchased 2 complete systems(sphere & pipes)....sphere is fine but the pipes are flimsy and become brittle in less than a year..they don't snag...but they will break off.
I purchased a pack of the spheres(no rods) and put 1/2 inch conduit pvc in the spheres..much stronger and don't get brittle and break off."

AMAZING!,March 4, 2009
By FISHUNT7from BAMA
"I bought 6 of the centers and cut my own PVC for them. The water under my pier is only about 4 feet deep so I wanted to use 2' sections on the top and bottom and 3' sections on the sides to cover as much area as possible. I put 4 of them under my pier last summer and it didn't take but a month to have a significant fish population under my pier. How do I know?? I have a feeder that goes off twice a day and it is easy to tell how many fish you have around. I had to increase my feed timers after I put the out. They really do work!!"

There Great,October 16, 2008
By Lake1mm
"I purchased these on the advice of a friend and put in 6 in our boat slips, We had covered our old beds with a new dock so the fishing had really dropped off. We put these in and within just a couple of weeks were catching fish, a couple of weeks more we get one almost every cast. What I really like is that they will not rot and I won't have to do this every couple of years. We just dropped 3 more at my neighbors today. They are the real deal!"

Crappie Fisherman's Dream,September 26, 2007
By Chiggy
"Last spring I put nine fish habitat's in my boat slip at the lake. Everyone else there was putting cedar trees, Christmas trees and alphalfa hay in their slips. When the crappie moved in, they were all coming to fish my slip because that's where the crappie were. Plus they liked catching crappie without getting hung up and having to rerig so much. It would bum them out to see me coming down the dock because they knew I was going to fish my slip. It was hard for them to watch me limit out when they were only catching three or four fish. Every once in a while, I would say OK come on over and catch you a few. This year I have seen some of those same folks sinking these fish habitats in their own slips. Ya gotta luv it!!!!! These things are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Porcupine Fish Habitat,September 25, 2007
By Dave
"These are a great addition to any pond or lake! They last forever unlike real trees, will not snag lures and really attract game fish. Within a few weeks they get covered in algae attracting bait fish and larger game fish. The spheres can be purchased in three packs without PVC or complete units. If you buy the sphere only, use schedule 40 1/2" PVC - thicker walled PVC will not fit in the 1/2" diameter holes. Do not use PVC. longer than 2' as the weight of the schedule 40 may cause the sphere to separate or cause the walls of the sphere to crack. Use PVC cement when attaching your PVC as they can loosen or fall out once in the water. If you are only purchasing a few of the spheres (less than 10) or don't have the time to go out and find schedule 40 pvc and hand cut it, I find it much easier to just but the pre-made units. I find the best way to place the spheres is to add a block of concrete with plastic coated #12 wire to the concrete block then run the wire up the center of one end of the PVC, through the center of the sphere and out to the end of the opposite PVC tube and then wrap off the end on the end of the PVC. This way the habitat will be anchored where you want it. Place the spheres in 3 to 5 unit groups approx. 3 - 5' apart in close proximity to drop offs or shallow to deep water access. I like to use smaller units in shallow water and increase the unit's overall size as the water depth increases."

CUT CORNERS,January 24, 2007
By hopkinsfrom SHERWOOD, ARKANSAS
"I SAVED A LOT OF MONEY BY PURCHASING ONLY THE THREE SPHERES FOR LESS THAN $30 AND THEN BUYING THE 1/2 INCH PVC AT HOME DEPOT AND CUTTING TO SIZE. WHITE, GREY OR GREEN, THEY WILL ALL COAT WITH ALGAE WITHIN A MATTER OF WEEKS."
