"I've used Coleman propane lanterns for years and they just keep getting better and better. I've never had one to give me a problem other than breaking a globe which is no fault of the lanterns. The new features on this one take away all the old hassels like tieing on mantles and match starting. In my opinion there is no other lantern on the market that can compare!"

"This lantern is great for camping or for night fishing. The instastart is nice so there is no messing around with lighters or matches. The model I have has a diferent base that constantly falls off but this one seems a little better. The top does get very hot (like all gas lanterns) so I would be carefull around kids or pets. Other than that the cost of propane and the running time is better than battery operated lanterns. I would recomend getting a case for it insted of wrapping it in an old shirt like I do."

"This item preformed exactly as it specified. Easy to light with a large handle for hanging during use. The bottom base stays on even when carrying the light from place to place. A simple twist release the base to be used on additional cylinders. Definite must when camping."

"I had the opportunity to use the Coleman Perfectflow InstaStart Propane Lantern a couple weeks on a camping trip with my son. We arrived later than expected and all was dark. The lantern was not assembled yet, but was quick and easy to put together. It was simple to light and in a matter of minutes, the entire area around our camper was well lit. We were able to unpack and set up camp easily with the amount of light that this lantern gives off. It is easy to light and operate and has an adjustable brightness setting. I also like the fact that you use propane canisters instead of messing with liquid fuel which can be messy."

"A great new lantern from Coleman. Is much brighter than other two mantle lanterns by coleman and ranks right up there with the Northstar and the new Pinnacle. Push button lighting is very nice.The new design of pulling the top off with globe makes for very easy mantle access and there is no globe rattle. Overall a beautiful lantern thats super bright."
