"My friend and I went in this kayak for the first time, when we got to the middle of the lake where the waves are higher we tipped. Other wise its really fun."

"this kayak is stable for it's size ,it turns when you want it to turn and it doesn't turn when you want it to go straight. great kayak for beginers. good for fishing, surfing, and taking out baits at the beach. good in lakes, bays and at the beach. if you want speed this is not the boat for you. If you don't want to get your pants wet you will want to buy scupper stoppers for it."

"I love the stability of this kayak it realy is amazing. It is so stable that I can stand on it while paddling. It is very hard to flip (even when you try).
The whole kayak is very strong so you dont have to worry about holes when draging it across rocks on land. I am very impressed with this kayak and I highly recommend it for beginners and children because the seat is Considerably small. This kayak is great!!!"

My Yak Review of the Ocean Kayak Frenzy, July 11, 2006

"The Frenzy is wonderful! It is very stable; you can rock it and not flip. It handles very well when you paddle. Some kayaks tend to turn from side-to-side when you paddle...not this one. There was one drawback for me. I am female and the Frenzy (although I weigh 175lbs.) has a very narrow seat mold providing discomfort to my thigh area. It was very constricting and I could only sit in one position to keep it from rubbing on my legs. I think it is a great product for a man or a small woman. Due to my situation, I have opted for the Ocean Kayak Venus 11. Maybe I will be able to review it when my shipment arrives!
PS...be advised that the color "Sunrise" makes the kayak look faded and old and the sunrise model of the Frenzy arrives without carry handles. Yellow was great!!!"
