The Sportz Truck Tent III truck tent allows you to sleep comfortably protected in the bed of your pickup. Its shock-corded fiberglass poles and tent sleeves are color coded for a fast (est. 10 minutes) set up. Bed straps provide a secure, worry-free anchor and wrap the side of the tent over the side of your truck, ensuring water drips off the side and not down into the bed of the vehicle. Tent is constructed of durable 185T polyester with 1200mm waterproof coating, so you have no worries about rain on your camping trip. The truck tent provides a comfortable sleeping area for two with its patented sewn-in woven polyethylene waterproof coated floor and more than 5.5' of headroom. Enjoy excellent ventilation with two large No-See-Um mesh windows and two ceiling vents. The tent's attached 6' x 6' awning provides a protected spot to store bulky gear and shade. Tent features large access door at the back of the tent. Access sleeve in the front of the tent allows you to access the cab and run cords from the cab to the tent without leaving the tent! Features two interior pockets and gear loft to help keep gear organized and out of the way. Two small PVC bed windows allows you to use the truck's cargo lights while in the tent. Great Tent for F350 truck,October 31, 2009

"Have a F350 full size pickup and bought the 55011 model. This was easy to set up and fix the truck bed. It had plenty of room and lots of places for storage. It rained for 3 days and was very high winds at times -- tent never leaked or sweat the whole time. The truck bed was dry. I am 6'4" and had lots of room inside tent. Best tent I have ever purchased."

"I have been looking at this tent for over a year, not sure if it would be a good fit for me and my husband. A recent camping trip required that I make a decision on a tent (sans husband), and I decided to take the plunge on this one over a traditional tent.
It was fantastic! easy to set up with good instructions (READ the instructions, by the way), and use another person to help the first time out. It went up within 30 minutes the first time w/two people.
There was ample space for my single person air mattress, and a little room for essentials (plastic crate for night stand). there are handy interior pockets for things, small and large.
It is important to have realistic expectations, however. I am 5'4" and there was only just enough headroom for me to maneuver comfortably. There isn't adequate space to change clothing easily, get dressed, etc. If you ever have to get up in the middle of the night for a trip to the bathroom, the lack of steps off the tailgate is a pain (not the fault of the tent).
If you're looking for a quick and easy solution to your camping needs, this is it, especially for only one person. However, if you're looking for a comfortable camping experience that will allow room for clothing changes, etc, go with a traditional tent. Note that this is not a negative with this tent, only a thing to consider when buying a tent.
I couldn't be happier with the quality - it was very dewy on the night i camped, and i didn't experience any flow-through of the dampness, even when I was touching the side of the tent - the over-flap works very well in preventing any type of water coming through.
It was also really nice to have the bed of the truck completely covered - helped to keep bugs and other critters to a minimum, as well as the nice mesh door that comes with the tent."
