"The 6 foot Pro finesse Trigger rod matched with the Bass Pro Prolite baitcasting reel makes an extremely lightweight and fun setup. This is a well made rod with a full contact reel seat and very nice silicon carbide guides. You can fish with comfort all day with these rods."

Not Bad,
February 16, 2009
"I purchased the 6'3 for dock skipping soft plastics. This rod is not real heavy, but could stand to loose some weight. As past reviewers have mentioned, this rod is very well balanced, not tip heavy, and feels very comfortable with an Abu Garcia Revo reel. I really like the twist lock reel seat, however think a huge improvement on this rod would be to eliminate the foregrip. The foregrip is much bulkier than the rest of the rod. I would give a 7.5 for sensitivity on a scale of 1 to 10. If BPS would make these few refinements it would earn the title of FINESSE in my book. For 70 bucks on sale it is a heck of a rod."

even better than i thought it'd be!,

"i ordered the 6'9" ML casting model...initially, i was concerned that the action might be too light. the tip is actually very fast and there's plenty of backbone for the hookset. i was even more pleased that the rod has two features that are not mentioned in the description: click-down reel tightening plus a multi-purpose hook keeper. i had bought a fuji hook keeper II in anticipation for this rod because a built-in hook keeper is not shown in the pictures and some of the reviews for other BPS rods say that they don't have hook keepers but this one does...not only that, it is the multi-purpose one that can hold texas rigs and dropshot weights. as for the rod itself, it is very light and feels and looks great...highly recommended."

"I own 3 of these rods. Two 7"M and one 6'6"ML. I love these rods for fishing smallmouth because they are so sensitive and also have enough backbone to horse a big fish into the boat. I have used all the high end name brand rods and I would have to say this rod is just as good or better than any other rod on the market. My wife also loves this rod because she can fish all day with out getting tired from holding a heavy old rod. Try one you will see what I mean."

Excellent rod!,

"I bought my third BPS finesse rod today for a total of two casting and one spinning rod. Few bass rods these days are built to throw 1/16 oz. baits (as does the ML) and even less of those are one-piece with a good backbone, which is why I bought these. I don't have a lot of big fish to brag about here, but these rods are extremely sensitive and, to date, I have landed several fish including a 4 pound largemouth with these rods. I have long believed Bass Pro makes the best rods out there for the money. If you find a better rod out there, start looking for Bass Pro's newest rod to come available at a lower price."
